'A most wonderful and relaxing stay in Valerie’s cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and lacked for nothing. Quiet, safe, and well located location. We enjoyed the amenities and used the kayaks to get over to Moriah Harbour Cay and the unpopulated beaches. Valerie made sure we lacked for nothing and was a wealth of local information. Best of all, her dogs were our daily visitors.Thanks for everything, we hope to return someday! '

'This is a really great place. Super clean and comfortable. Great access to ocean. Steps to the beach. Dine outside on patio. Lots of beach accessories supplied and host super responsive. I would highly recommend getting a rental car, get a one day pass at Grand Isle resort and/or renting a boat to explore Stocking Island so that you can experience different areas of the island. We rented a boat from Exuma Boat rental, Allison and Exuma auto rental'

'This was the perfect House for our trip to the Bahamas and the hostess were phenomenal to deal with.'

'We were greeted by someone when we checked in. Very friendly and great experience. The space was spacious and comfortable. Loved the screened in porch for meals and just enjoying the view of the ocean. Convenient location was close enough to town to walk, however we rented a car for our stay. Overall great experience and will definitely look at booking here again next time we visit the island.'

'Valerie met us and took us to the cottage to check in and made sure we were comfortable with everything. The cottage was lovey and every detail was addressed. It was very private. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and sent time relaxing outside in the hot tub and lounging in spa like setting inside. Great time!'

'I COULD GO ON AND ON, WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT THATCH BAY COTTAGE MORE THAT I EVER DREAMED WE WOULD. OUR FIRST TRIP TO EXUMA AND IT WILL NOT BE OUR LAST. IT WAS JUST MY HUSBAND AND I. THE HOUSE WAS GORGEOUS, WE ENJOYED THE PORCH SO MUCH, THE BEACH WAS GREAT, WE SNORKLED AND FOUND SEVERAL STAR FISH RIGHT OUT OUR BACK DOOR, WALKED THE BEACH MANY TIMES, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SUN RISES, THE HOUSE WAS VERY WELL FURNISHED, THE OWNERS HAVE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING, IF YOU NEED IT, THEY'VE GOT IT THERE FOR YOU...

'We enjoyed our stat at Xtoria West. The property was clean, stocked kitchen (spices and cookware...) plenty of towels. There are beach chairs and umbrellas. Washer dryer.View was incredible from the screen room. It even had TV. Food on the island wasnt to our liking but we brought frozen meat. Cant buy beef there, or deli meats. mostly chicken, food and drinks are expensive, pack accordingly. Roads are hard to drive on with all the potholes and on the left side, but we made due. 'We just returned from a glorious 6 days at The Turquoise. I am giving a 4 instead of 5 is because the pool isn't actually at the house, as pictured. It's across the street at Las Palmas. Fortunately we got permission to use it from the lovely lady that checked us in but there were folks staying at the house; FYI if you are going for complete privacy. We didn't mind, it just took me by surprise. We didn't see any turtles at this beach (however, we did snorkelling at blue hole!) but we did see...
