'This is a place to put your head down and that's about it. Small cottage that has many miles on it. Beds and bedding were old and uncomfortable. Blanket consisted of a sleeping bag. Showers backed up into the tub. Air conditioner leaked onto the living room floor. It rained hard while we were there. had some time where we could not go anywhere. TV is broken. Looks like the coax cable was yanked out of the back. Back window was broken with a piece of plastic and tape over it. One...

'The cottage was no frills but had everything we needed and was nestled in a quiet area surrounded by native vegetation and many types of birds. The screened in porch and pool was perfect for relaxing too. The pier is a few feet away with easy access for kayaking or watching the green sea turtles from there. Valerie is a top notch host and ensures that you have everything that you need. Thanks again Valerie - we had a great time!'

'Love the view of the water. (Had high winds all week and couldn't swim but there is a beach right there.) Walkable to town and to Fish Fry. Everything you need is there. Comfortable beds. Washer and dryer available. Beach and snorkel equipment available. Communication was quick and responsive.'

'Valerie met us and took us to the cottage to check in and made sure we were comfortable with everything. The cottage was lovey and every detail was addressed. It was very private. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and sent time relaxing outside in the hot tub and lounging in spa like setting inside. Great time!'

'We just returned from a glorious 6 days at The Turquoise. I am giving a 4 instead of 5 is because the pool isn't actually at the house, as pictured. It's across the street at Las Palmas. Fortunately we got permission to use it from the lovely lady that checked us in but there were folks staying at the house; FYI if you are going for complete privacy. We didn't mind, it just took me by surprise. We didn't see any turtles at this beach (however, we did snorkelling at blue hole!) but we did see...

'The Lodge was clean and bright. I particularly like the water filtration system eliminating the need and expense of buying water for cooking and drinking. Spencer, the host, was always immediately available through Whatsapp to answer questions and take care of any concerns. A perfect spot for an adventurous couple to enjoy kayaking, snorkeling and flats fishing.'
