'My wife & I escaped the rat race to spend 4 nights at Palm Bay Resort, Long Island to celebrate our upcoming 50th birthdays. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the staff. We were allocated a lovely Ocean View Bure overlooking the turquoise water in the bay. The food in the restaurant was incredible and we were amazed to hear that the Chefs are both very young…… I hope they keep them as they are immensely talented. 'Our stay here was incredible. Romantic and relaxing. This place offers a little slice of paradise to unwind in. The location is secluded and spectacular. (Note you do need to book a transfer from Hamilton Island Airport, either two boats or via a 5 min helicopter flight - which is a lovely way to see the islands!) The staff are all fantastic, a big thank you to Alice and the entire team. They are caring, attentive (no request was too hard) whilst ensuring you also have your space. '
