Een plek voor jezelf

Je hebt de gehele woning helemaal voor jezelf en hoeft dus alleen met je reisgezelschap te delen.

Luxe, rustig toevluchtsoord, grote tuinen en rivier, in de buurt van stranden.

Genesteld in het prachtige en oude Kilminorth Woodland, West Looe van Cornwall. Een ruime en gezellige woning tussen bijna een hectare eigen tuinen met gazon, bos en beek. Hier vindt u een overvloed aan dieren in het wild, we hebben alleen reiger, slechtvalken, buizerds, zwanen en herten in de tuin gezien. Vissen op zalm en forel in de stroom. Kajak over de schilderachtige rivier van West Looe. Waad op een warme zomerdag in de koele stroom of slaap lekker in de schaduw van de appelbomen. Warm jezelf op bij het haardvuur, hoor het straaltje van de rivier en bekijk de sterren in dit ongerepte en beschermde deel van Cornwall.

Ondiep zwembad is meer dan een thuis weg van huis met een vleugje luxe om u te begroeten na een boswandeling, een boottocht op de rivier of een dag op het strand.

Bezoek de charmante en mooiste kustdorpen van Cornwall in de buurt. Ervaar Cornish dineren en lessen uw dorst in de lokale bekroonde pubs en restaurants.

Lovely remote bungalow
Spacious bungalow, with lovely big garden. Well equipped with everything you’d need. Such a peaceful stay! Understandably, with it being such a remote area, the road the accommodation is on, as well as the surrounding roads are very tight with very limited passing places. There was no forewarning for this on the listing. It was not too much of an issue for us but could be for others. In general the property was clean. However, doors, walls and BBQ could do with a deep clean.

Autumn break
Lovely property with good facilities. Nice welcome pack which we really needed. I’m sure it’s lovely in summer but we endured rain, storms & flooding which made enjoying the local area a challenge. Access road to property was difficult to navigate & we burst 3 tyres with small rocks which had washed down the road. Just bad luck weather wise but did affect our stay sadly I’m sure it’s lovely in nice weather!

We all had a fantastic stay at Shallow Pool. The property had everything we needed and more. The garden is gorgeous, with ample space for kids, grown ups and the dog. The house was modern with very comfortable furnishings. Would definitely stay again.

A most relaxing break
If you enjoy complete peace, quiet and privacy then this is the property for you. I had a pretty good idea from the listing pictures what it would be like, but the reality is just magic. Superb weather for our 5 days, and just the R&R that we all needed.

Discovery week in Cornwalls
My parents and I spent a week in the cottage with my dog. We had an amazing time. the property and garden are splendid. the garden is huge and gorgeous with a river running in the back. An extremely relaxing place. There is everything needed and the communication is great. If we go back to Cornwalls it will definitely be a place we would go to again.

A couple and their dog
Last minute break away turned out to be the best short stay we’ve experienced, that we booked and paid for an extra night! The property is far superior to any we have previously enjoyed, with home from home utilities and comforts included. The kitchen diner is perfect for any time of the day to enjoy, with the added benefit of a log burner in the lounge for cozy winter evenings playing an array of board games. Well stocked shelving of books and toys, and fully loaded tv if required. The best part is of course the land in which the property sits, with wonderful countryside views, the sound of nature and blissful stream at the bottom. Our dog couldn’t believe her luck having this garden to roam during our stay. Sonia is an incredible host who thinks of every little home comfort required, with the added welcoming treats on arrival. Would definitely recommend this property to families who love nature but also dogs who wish for freedom and wonderful walks in the countryside and woodland walks to Looe. Thank you so much for organising with the housekeeper the return of our Alexa, going that extra mile makes an experience a wonderful memory Guy, Tara and Luna

Beautiful property in a stunning location
A gorgeous property, inside and out. Thankful the owners share this gem with holiday makers. We felt secluded and surrounded by nature, very special when an otter came to play in the pond one evening. The interior is both comfortable and a cozy design. Cannot fault, would thoroughly recommend and will be back.

Perfect!
Very clean, very comfortable and excellent location. As the host says, it is a home to home experience. You will find all those little but very important small kitchen and household items that you always need for the simple day to day matters. The cottage itself is very clean. Rooms spacious and well positioned. Comfortable beds, bedding and linen. The outdoor has plenty of areas to relax and it is very private. Very close to Looe and all it has to offer. We walked via Kilminorth Woods to the town straight from the cottage. We very much enjoyed Looe to Talland Bay walk. Highly recommend!

Magical stay for my 50th birthday
We had a fabulous week at the house. It’s Beautifully furnished and has the comfiest beds and bed linen. It is really well equipped and there were lovely personal touches with fresh flowers and the welcome pack of local produce. The garden and the location are stunning. So peaceful and secluded. It was a squeeze getting to the house down the lane in a camper van but lots of space to park once there. Highly recommend this property.

We had a very relaxing stay. The house and garden were perfect for our needs. Our 2 little dogs absolutely loved the gardens. Sonia answered any questions we had really quickly and was very helpful. perfect get-away
great location, bit difficult to find, but good communication with property owner. Perfect place if you need quiet time, away from busy city life. Unlucky for us we had terrible weather, so couldn`t explore area. Close to nearest town with shops/pubs available. Would recomend to anyone looking to relax.
