Milagro Guest House, Seaside Bungalow with Ocean View and a Private Pool!

Location, location, location!!!, What more can we say. When visiting Loreto you really cannot get a more ideal and charming location. You will enjoy beautiful sea views from the front and the rear terraces of the bungalow. And your huge rear terrace overlooks your private pool. You are literally steps from the beach and the malecon- Loreto's seaside promenade. The bungalow is in a quiet, desirable neighborhood, enjoying a mix of cultures. As you step out of the front garden, you will be amazed at the friendliness of your neighbors.

Inside, the house has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a dining area. It has a comfortable living room with seating for 6, large screen TV with Netflix and Prime. The bedroom is spacious and there is a modern bathroom. In the back there is a large terrace with sea views and a dining area for 6. The terrace also has room to relax and lounge, while reading a book or maybe taking a nap. The bungalow consists of the entire upper level, with a private entrance via a secluded stairway.

Loreto is a wonderful place to visit, especially if you have never visited Mexico before. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful. As you walk the malecon you will be greeted with smiles and friendly greetings by the local folks. A car is not necessary to vacation at your bungalow in Loreto as it is located in the Centro (central district), with our many amenities within an easy and short walk. This would include the beach right across the street, a few steps to the malecon and many restaurants. You are only a 10 minute walk from our lovely tree shaded plazas and our historic Mission (one of the first Pacific Coast missions). A lot of unique and interesting shops can be found in this area.

You can also easily walk to services such as banks, groceries and car rentals (should you wish to visit our outlying attractions). We can help you hire a boat for your sea adventure; fishing, snorkeling or island tours. Or guides can be hired as you stroll on the malecon near the local marina.

So while you might find yourself driving into town, once you are parked, you might find that your vehicle goes unused as you tour Loreto on foot! Or perhaps by bicycle or kayak (both available on site and provided free of charge).

We can provide concierge services to help make your trip easy and a great success. This might include airport transfers, grocery shopping, laundry services, excursion planning, romantic meal catering, let us make your dream come true!

My new happy place
Wanted a place to stay for a week for r&r and Milagro perfectly fit the bill. The apartment is upstairs accessible by private outside stairs. It is clean, beautiful with nifty Day of the Dead touches. Extremely comfortable chairs, sofa and bed. You can be sure I will visit again next time I am in Loreto. Easy walking distance to everything. Peter and Ron made me some amazing food - including the best caesar salad I ever had, juicy tomahawk pork chop and rellenos on 3 different nights. Very reasonably oriced, too.

Fantastic apartment
Stayed for a few days in this lovely, private apartment hosted by Peter and Ron. It’s in a perfect location at the end of the Malecon. All you need in Loreto
Outstanding location at the south end of the Malecon offers immediate access to a great stroll up the Sea of Cortez shore. The Marina, at the north end, is a mere 15 minute walk. Along the way are a variety of cafe's, restaurants and just a few hotels. Also, easy access to the central square, shops, more restaurants, grocery and a craft brewery within 5-10 minutes of the Malecon. Rooms in the home are generous size, kitchen, dining, living, bath and bedroom. A king size bed with super comfy topper! High efficiency mini-split A/C and heat in both living and bedrooms for temperature control. Kitchen is nicely complete for cooking and eating in with dishes for guests and a full service spice rack. Generous deck, with table for six and other deck furniture for lounging, overlooks the seasonal pool. The beach, for launching a couple of available kayaks which are transportable on roller wheels, is a mere 40 yards away for easy access. A couple of bikes are also available. The VRBO unit is upstairs above where the on site hosts live. Peter and Ron are outstanding hosts and take great care insuring the privacy of their guests!! They've lived in the community lots of years and are a wealth of knowledge for local recommendations.

The guest house is in a prime location for those who want to explore the lovely town of Loreto on foot as well as be near the water. Peter and Ron are incredibly gracious, welcoming, and accommodating, and we could not have asked for a better lodging experience. Perfect Getaway
Our accommodations were excellent. Every necessity and comfort were provided for us to have a relaxing week in Loreto. Peter and Ron greeted us upon arrival and shared relevant information on our accommodation and things to do and favorite restaurants in Loreto. Our location was right near the walkway along the Sea of Cortez. We walked it numerous times as it always intrigued us to watch the pelicans diving for fish. Dining options were abundant and delicious. We ate out for most meals but the kitchen had every item a chef would need to prepare meals. We were a little early in the season to enjoy the pool but it looked very inviting. In summary I’d say it was an A+ experience.

We had a great time in Loreto. The accommodations couldn't have been any better.......gorgeous view from the large patio. We walked all around the town from the house and it was so convenient. In the heart of Loreto
We had a great time in Loreto despite some weather issues. We went with the intention of getting some scuba diving, but the weather didn’t cooperate. That being said, we did dive with the sea lions one day and it was fabulous. Our apartment was right off the Malecon and we walked all over the town. There was something happening almost every day and we met so many nice and friendly people. We had use of bikes and kayaks and we enjoyed both of those. Peter was available and so helpful during the week. I would highly recommend staying at the Milagro guest house.

I 'd amp it up with 6 stars if I could
Our stay at the Milagro Guest house met and then surpassed our expectations. Let's start with the location. It's a 30 second walk to the south end of the Malecon and about a 1 minute walk to the beach and the beach bar/restaurant at the Oasis Hotel. Happy hour starts at 4pm. You can walk to many excellent restaurants, that have really good food, and are laid back and not fancy. The tourist part of the town in the Centro is about a 10 minute walk. The apartment had everything we needed. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need including every spice ever discovered on the planet. We ate out some days and others we would buy groceries and cook. It's a nice option to have.The bed was comfortable with a 3 inch soft foam topper to add comfort. Peter and Ron are the consummate hosts. As a perk ,they will shop for groceries for you before you arrive and if they don't have any previous appointments ,will gladly drive you to the airport when you are leaving. They are well organized with a PDF and written guide to the town and things to do .They are always available for questions and to assist you in any way to make your stay as good and relaxed as possible.

Just finished a 4-week stay at Milagro Guest House. Cannot say enough good about it—all aspects. Peter and Ron are great hosts, quick to respond if needed, and are knowledgeable and very helpful about how to spend your time in Loreto and surrounding Baja. The guesthouse itself is comfortable, nicely furnished, has great outside space and has an amazingly well-stocked kitchen. The location….ah, the location. Absolutely perfect. We arrived in Loreto and were greeted by Peter and Ron, shown through the property and given a few tips on what to consider doing during our stay. Their suggestions were bang on as we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and excursion suggestions they made. The unit was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The 3 outside deck areas gave us a great choice of sun and shade at different times of the day. Peter and Ron were very available, extremely pleasant and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying at their guest house while enjoying Loreto!

Awesome hosts!
Ron and Peter are the best. They Made special efforts to make us feel at home and their rental is top notch! The location is perfect - right on the south end of the Malecon where a great sand beach begins. It was a little cold for us to enjoy the sparkling pool and the kayaks, but we had a great time tooling around town on the bicycles. The outdoor deck area is very large and comfortable with couch, lounge chairs, propane barbecue and dining table. It was great to sit out there and look at the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very nice. The property is very secure - even though Loreto is very safe, it is nice to feel secure. The bed with a memory foam topper will pull you in for a deep, restful sleep.

If you have discovered this property, you are fortunate indeed. The apartment itself is roomy and has everything a person might need, and then more. There are two outdoor areas to hang out to either chase or stay out of the sun, depending upon the time of year and one’s desire. There is a sweet little pool with a wonderful fountain that creates a great sound for back deck living. Ocean view is wonderful from the back deck and all around. there are palm trees and spaciousness. The hosts were incredibly responsive to our needs and initiated emails advising on venders use, places to go and what not to miss. They made it very easy for our first time in Loreto and our desire to explore Loreto in just a week. One of our most favorite things was that we had bikes for our use and we used them every day and went all over and were able to see so much, go grocery shopping etc. Overall we had a really great time and we will return to Milago Guest House again. Thank you Peter and Ron.

Exactly what you want in a vacation rental
We're generally cautious of places with "perfect" 5-star ratings, but in this case, 5-star is definitely well deserved. Clean: YES Comfortable bed: YES Well-stocked kitchen: very much YES, with nice cookware and sharp knives too. Location: EXCELLENT - close, but not too close; an easy walk to everything but far enough to escape and enjoy the quiet when you need it. Hosts: PERFECT - great communication before and during, checking in to make sure you are having a good stay, without encroaching on privacy. Exactly as described: well... not quite - the pictures don't do it justice, it's much nicer and more spacious in real life. We're a little apprehensive about giving such a glowing review, but the truth is we would recommend it to all of our friends and family. We just hope it won't be so busy that we will have problems booking there again. Thanks Peter and Ron.

Peter and Ron have created the perfect vacation rental. The apartment was equipped with EVERYTHING, the furnishings were extremely tasteful as well as high quality, the shower was probably the best I've ever encountered in Mexico. The location can't be beat and is practically on the Malecon. And, Peter and Ron were probably the most hospitable hosts that we've ever encountered, they honestly wanted us to have the absolute best stay in Loreto. Thank you Peter & Ron!
