'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'WOW!!! What an incredible suite!!! My wife and I spent a few days in Fredericksburg to celebrate Baby #3, and we couldn’t have selected a more beautiful location. Upon entering, it took our breath away. It was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. We will definitely be sharing this hidden gem with family and friends. '

'The cabins are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. All the comforts of home, but they also elude an old world charm. Highly recommended for those who want to get away, but are actually only minutes away from great wine, shopping, and German cuisine, all nestled in the heart of the Texas hill country.'

'Cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. The property feels secluded an quite,with walking trails. There is a gas grill and firepit for use. Theres mentions of wildlife in the area but we didnt see any at all,except for birds so if you are a bird enthusiast this is place for you. We sat out by firepit at night and it was peacefull and relaxing.loved this cabin.'

'Our stay was very comfy !! It was an amazing couples getaway ! They went above and beyond to provide everything needed for a get away in the Texas hill country ! We had a personal fire pit for the cold evening ! Inside we had a comfy bed with an amazing view outside to all of the wild life !! Roaming free they had longhorns,ducks,chcikens,and black buck deer! Some of the key things that we had inside were fridge and freezer coffee maker large kitchen sink ! And a 4 in 1 air fryer /microwave!...

"We had a great stay here. Very friendly people at the reception. Breakfast was like you find at most motels in Texas: basic but decent enough. Good location to explore the wineries during the day. We highly recommend the Texas Hill Winery and Rhinory. Also for a late drink and a true taste of the Texan hospitality, go to the Red Baron bar just behind the hotel. It's a hidden gem in the parking lot that's really hard to find, but full of locals. Looks super dodgy from the outside, but great once you're in, as long as you don't mind a bit of sigarette smoke. Highly recommended!"

"I don’t mind older hotels and don’t need luxury or fancy stuff but I do like my room clean and that just wasn’t the case here. There were stains on the sheets, the floor was greasy and the bath tub was so worn down I really dreaded taking a shower. We decided not to stay and booked a room across the street; best decision for us. Lady at reception was very friendly though, there sure is potential to make this a nice place to stay but the current state just wasn’t ok for us.."
