'We came to stay in this area to attend my best friend's wedding. There were around 100 guests at the wedding and everyone had rented a home in the area. Our location was perfect! We were near other guests, the venue, and several breweries. There were several activities planed at the resort as well. 'Very comfortable well appointed house in an excellent location. The proximity of the AT and hikes we could walk to was greatly appreciated. The deck was wonderful…we utilized the gas fire pit every night. The trees blocked our view of mountains but we enjoyed listening to music and watching the squirrels. '

'We had a fantastic day at this property! The house is great and easily includes enough room for two couples with two kids, so the two of us had plenty of room. We really enjoyed the hot tub and mountain views. We were really close to one of the ski slopes, so staying here if you are a skier would be ideal. And it was just a short 10 minute walk to the local market to get supplies. The owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. '

(It is listed on the competitors listing among the other info) Also, be better if the closed in shoes cabinet is available to protect the shoes from the weather. - Would be better if the property manager sent check-in info at least a day earlier than the middle of the day of check-in.'

'This property was as amazing as it looks! Lisa was a fantastic and welcoming host. The house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. The view from the house is georgeous. It is also a perfect place for hiking. We'd love to come back!'

'The property location was great. In the heart of wintergreen with great views. The firplace on back deck was a great addition so we could enjoy evenings outside. My only complaint was the bed. It lists as queen and was not, and was also very "wore out" and in need of replacing. The bathrooms are a little tight and the toilet is low. If you are not a small person, it's a little cramped in there. The place wasn't dirty but could use a heavy dusting all over. Overall a nice little sopt on the...

'Spent a week with an old friend visiting some vineyards and breweries. Went on a hot air balloon ride from Charlottesville, dined at the Farmhouse at Veritas and took a few hikes. Enjoyed it all. '

'Great property: the "only" slight issue was the ice dispenser in the kitchen refrigerator. It only would dispense water and crushed ice; the "cube selection" only dispensed crushed ice. My adult beverages were a little too watered down; just consumed more, no big deal. Great time.'

'Beautiful views, cabinesque with all of the modern ammenities, great fire pit, comfortable, great layout, clean, homey, plenty of bed space. Easy walk to the market if you forgot something. Great seating everywhere, in the house, on the deck(s), by the fire pit. Wonderful!'

"Overzichtelijk terrein, goed onderhouden hotel. Komt schoon over. Veel geluid vanaf nabijgelegen snelweg, daarom gevraagd om een kamer aan de andere kant (en ook gekregen). Ontbijt is in orde; vriendelijke en attente dame die dat verzorgt."

great road hotel, will stay again.

"Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super clean and tidy!! Environmentally the breakfast was horrible, only Styrofoam, even melting plates under my toasted bagel, coffee cups melting, cutlery just unusable - please change to paper (recyclables)!? didn't use the gym or pool, but gym looked light and spacious. would stay again!"
