'Never book through expedia. They will not refund you even im the most extraordinary situations that are out of your hands. The hotel also will not refund you. Do not book through expedia they are no help and all their room for this hotel are non refundable no excuses. God forbid you have a death in your family or all planes were grounded due to severe weather or wars, nothing will change the hotel or expedia mind about waiving cancellation fees. 'I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)'

'The staff was great, they were very helpful and did what they could to help us enjoy our stay. The room we had only had one electrical outlet in it. The TV programming was predominantly in Asian, the view outside our window was awful, the mirror in the bathroom had an LED light around it that flashed on and off all night which typically isn’t a big deal but the door was glass so we saw that all night and the exercise room has cheap and outdated equipment. The bottom line is the staff is great....

'Staff is the best in the world. The food is world class. TV and wifi reception is not so good due to rainy month of July. Hotel boiler under going maintenance. Perfect place perfect people. Airport just 3 minute walk. Do yourself a favor, go there.'
