'This cottage was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. We had plans in New Orleans, but didn't want to stay in the city. Mandeville is an easy drive to and from New Orleans. The cottage itself was super cute and clean, and has all the things needed for a weekend stay. The hosts were extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating!'

'Stayed during holidays and this place was perfect for families. In the adorable Abita Springs area with a great park and restaurant just five minutes away. Will definitely stay again. '

'Great location. Essentials are available in Slidell, but you can easily access New Orleans. House was perfect for a crowd of over 20 people. There was great crabbing off the pier. '

'Its location is great. You have many thing to do in the local area and New Orleans is just down the road. It is very spacious. Below is why I rated 4 star CONS: This place does not have an oven just stove top. Make sure to call your host 5 days in advance and have all moth balls removed. We all got headaches the first day and was removing bags of moth balls. We got most out and were to tolerate the smell our last two days'

'Beautiful home with southern comfort. Enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. However, miniblinds in most of the rooms were broken or missing panels. Also, a gaping hole in wall. Out of concern of what may crawl in, we plugged the hole with a plastic soda bottle during our stay.purchased more towels and toilet paper to last us during stay. Overall, a beautiful home in need of attention. most of four couples to move about comfortably.'

'We loved every bit of the property! The tiny cabin was gorgeous! My only tiny complaint is that the bed was not comfortable. But with everything else to the property it really didn’t matter! It was so nice to sit on the dock and drink coffee and green tea and just enjoy the morning! We went fishing at the property too and was able to just relax and slow down, which is so needed these days! '

'I stayed here for the weekend while attending The Superbowl and the commute was a little distance away but wasn’t too far. The host was very communicative & considerate during my stay. She provided snacks & water and left courteous notes. I would recommend others to stay!!'

'The house was great. Very cozy and the view over the pond with the birds flying in was so peaceful. Perfect for a family, easy location very convienent to Nola and Slidell. Playgrounds in the neighborhood are awesome too. Host was excellent! Will be back for sure!'

'The host Merry was super informative and kept us in the loop when is SNOWED in Louisiana (never happens). All was good at the house though thank goodness. Easy directions to get in. The heat worked fantastic (not always the case in older homes) and the bed was super comfortable. We are going back in December and are going to book this house again!'
