Enjoy coffee on the lanai overlooking the canal while at this quiet three bedroom home with true island feel and Keys charm of generations past. Spacious living room with massage reclining sofa, fully stocked kitchen and updated bathrooms. Master has a king, second bedroom a queen and the third, a small bedroom with a full size bed. Bring your boat and tie up right off the back patio or inquire about keeping your boat on the attached lift. Just a few minutes ride on the water to either the Gulf or the Ocean. Located on the south end of Marathon, we're just a short walk, bike ride or drive to restaurants, bars, Publix , the 7 Mile Bridge and just about everything else!

Marathon Vacation to the Florida Keys
Stayed at this wonderful relaxing place with our best friends. We were able to relax, shop, visit throughout the keys then come back at the end of the day to rest and rejuvenate. John, the owner was very good at supplying us with all the details needed to access the VRBO along with info running appliances as well as what to do at check out. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful place.The Lillies

Decent rental, comfy king bed
This place was nice and had some updates. The biggest thing for us is cleanliness. The housekeeper on the property needs to do a thorough job vacuuming and a least wash the floor every now and then. There were LONG dark hairs all over the place. That’s what prompted us to vacuum and the floor “looked” clean but was dirty. We washed the area we were using. We only used the main bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had been updated in recent years and was very roomy. The appliances were clean. I’d suggest to the owners to do a deep clean in the cabinets and under furniture. We rented for two weeks but left after the first week. The small dogs across the canal bark at everything and anything.

Friend group vacation
We had a great stay. The location is nice and central for exploring upper, middle, and lower keys. Boat acces was a definite plus. The house itself was clean and comfortable. The bed sheets in the two guest rooms did not seem fresh as we found a couple of hairs stuck to sheets but we had access to laundry in the unit so we could wash them ourselves. Overall the listing photos are very accurate with the exception of two things that caught us by surprise. 1 - The washer and dryer are in a converted closet inside one of the guest bedrooms which wasn't evident from the listing photos. It wasn't a huge problem for us but less convenient than expected since the couple using that bedroom was inconvenienced each time someone needed to do laundry. 2 - the smallest of the guest bedrooms does not have an air conditioner and it got quite warm in that room. Additionally, the kitchen could be a bit better stocked with cooking utensils, but we managed fine and cooked several meals during our 7 day stay. There is a nice sized air conditioned storage room that was great for our overflow items, coolers, and snorkel gear. Overall we were pleased with the rental and would consider staying again another time when visiting the Keys.

All around a lovely spot and location. We most appreciated the sunroom and outdoor patio. Beds were comfortable. Very nice bathrooms. Easy access to local activities. Sheets and towels were clean but had a few stains.

Chilly time in the Keys!
We had a wonderful stay at the house while we explored the Keys. Unfortunately the weather was cold, but it was nice to retreat in the evenings back at the house. The house is clean, well-stocked (we could’ve used more towels), the primary bedroom is super comfy with a great shower, and the location of the house on the water is lovely! Highly recommend!

Great location
We had a great stay! Perfect location to Sombrero Beach and the grocery store! We rented a boat and was able to tie it up out back! It was quiet and relaxing! Spacious enough for our family of 5. We got to see a manatee and 2 dolphins in the cannel too! Our boys also enjoyed walking to get smoothies at the Cuban restaurant down the street!

The house trailer was the perfect size for a family of five. We enjoyed using the boat lift and sitting on the porches. It was the best decision we have made. We would love to go back next year and rent the same place.

What a wonderful house in a great location
We loved everything about this property from the moment we stepped in. All the extras that are not listed, like the master shower. That thing was impressive. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Stay with Family on the Canal!
We had such a a nice stay at Bikini Bottom! The property is well maintained, within easy driving distance of so many fun stops along the Keys and the house was so cute and roomy for myself, my husband, my parents and two children. Our daughters had so much fun tracking down all of the secret SpongeBob stickers when we arrived. And speaking of arrival, we had a manatee greet us in the canal on our first day! The multiple sitting/lounging spaces was amazing, and the beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were roomy and very clean. We had some trouble with the kitchen sink draining early in the week, but when we reached out to John and Erika's property manager, she was so quick to come over and both assess the situation and hire a plumber to fix it, keeping me updated with text messages so it didn't interrupt a day at the beach for us! The only negative that we experienced was the torrential storm at the end of the week. Obviously the weather was out of our homeowner's hands haha, but we had trouble closing the hurricane shutters so the porch wouldn't get soaking wet for us (My husband thinks the tracks were blocked). That small hiccup aside, overall I highly recommend staying at the Bikini Bottom house! We had a great experience.

Escape to the Keys
We would highly recommend this listing. The house was clean and very spacious. Nice quiet neighborhood. Especially at night. Very relaxing. The location is great. Very close to Sombrero beach. Great area for fishing and snorkling. Easy drive to Key West and other local attractions. Loved the Turtle Hospital.

Amazing Stay look no further!
We loved Bikini Bottom.The location was perfect! Close to grocery stores, beaches, we loved sombrero beach! Our kids adored all of the sponge bob details! Morning coffee on the patio was amazing & there is a great Cuban cafe steps away! We enjoyed sitting by the water at night & relaxing. The beds were so comfortable & the shower, laundry, and well stocked kitchen were all a plus! We can’t wait to come back!

Fishing trip
This was a great place to stay if you want access to the water. We kept our boat on the lift, and we could quickly go out the canal, through the bay, and out to some good fishing spots and the Sombrero reef-dont forget your dive flag. John, our host, was VERY responsive when we had a question. The beds were very comfortable. We loved spending time in the screened in Lanai.

Clean and Convenient
We enjoyed our stay! When we arrived there were only two towels for our week long stay, but the house was nice and clean. However, once we contacted our host, John, just an hour later we were greeted with a bag full of clean towels for our stay. The combination lock also messed up. John was easy to contact and walked us through resetting it. The lock worked fine the rest of the trip. The location is great for site seeing the keys! John had very good recommendations for places to eat out. The kitchen was also well equipped with grocery stores close by for cooking in. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and enjoying the sun and water. We saw a cute manatee that came to play and some little gar fish, but had no luck at catching any fish for supper. Pigeon Key is close by. We enjoyed spending the day at the key. Also several beaches close by to enjoy.
