'This was perfect for us just down the way from the family cabin we were visiting. Berkeley Springs is a nice little down with a very rich history. We will probably rent this several times in the future given its location to our friends cabin just a few hundred yards down the road.'

'We had a very pleasant stay in late March. The grounds are wooded and we felt very much surrounded by nature. Do pay attention to the property description: there is no AC and no WiFi. Since the weather was cool we were fine with the provided fans. In full summer, it might be too hot. Also, the tennis courts for the neighborhood are in very poor condition and practically unplayable.'

'We had a wonderful weekend at Buck Haven. Janie and Cy, the hosts have thought of everything to make for a perfect weekend stay. The cabin is so comfortable and the views are amazing. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the scenery. Check in and out is very easy and they were very flexible. This was the second time we have stayed there and we hope to be able to do it again next year.'

'I expected a rough but genuine attempt at a Bavarian style getaway for our wedding anniversary, but was impressed to find it very much exceeded expectations. Our waiter for dinner(Robert) was amazing and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be returning! '

The views were stunning, the cabin was fantastic (especially the upper deck), and the privacy was just the right balance of secluded and populated in case of emergency. The cabin was easy to find and close enough to tourist areas and towns. But the cabin itself offered plenty to keep busy (nature, board games, an impressive DVD collection, working internet).'
