'This was a great historic house to stay in. All modern conveniences while staying true to the structure and history of the home and area. We enjoyed our days visiting Antietam Battle Field, Sharpsburg, and surrounding towns. Beautiful area with lots to see and very friendly people. It was nice to come back at the end of the day and relax in the house with plenty of room unlike a hotel room. Price was great also. '

'Our family met here for a weekend getaway. The house is amazing and is stocked with everything you need! The pool room is great, the patio out back has firepits for you to sit around at night, and the kids enjoyed riding their bikes on the property and at the park. The views are beautiful and the beds were comfortable.We brought most of our food with us, but there are stores about 15 minutes away. Its a perfect spot to unplug and relax. '

'My family and I Stayed at Ski Ya Later this weekend. Pros: Great location directly next to Whitetail Ski resort and a short drive to the town of Mercersburg. The beds are very comfortable. The place is modern, decorated very nicely. Check in was a breeze. Nice TV, Chargers galore. Spacious- there were four of us (2 adults , 2 teens) but the place can easily sleep up to 8. 'Nice and clean, easy check in and out. The unit was easy to get to, the neighborhood was quiet and it was easy to get to the highway. We were on our way to Ocean City and needed a stop over in MD. This was a pleasant location, easy to get to and perfect for a one night stop over. It was very clean and neat and the off street parking spot was a nice convenience.'

'Was very nice to see a few staples available upon check in. This made for a much more relaxed atmosphere. Just far enough away from the town to enjoy the quiet, yet close enough to make a short trip to obtain essentials. The only addition we'd recommend is a small fenced in area for little ones. The road behind the house can get busy at times. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway. Cheers,'

'Beautiful property and neighborhood, very clean and well stocked. Lovely pool, deck and yard. Had a great time with our (adult) kids and grandkids. We're originally from MD and had really missed the mountains! Great communication with the hosts. Very responsive. '

We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. 'I spent a wonderful few days in the Catoctin Mountain area, hiking and learning about the local history. The house is really unique and full of rich history. Be ready for some basic furniture, but get immersed into the theme of the property. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend a stay here!'

We loved the fireplace, the lights on the deck, and were happy it was stocked with games -- we had fun asking each other Trivia questions.
