'The hand drawn map they gave us was hard to follow and when we got lost on the mountain, they were less than helpful. The one lane road up the mountain has steep cliffs and not many places to pull over or turn around. Once we arrived the cabin was so relaxing and the waterfall was beautiful & serene. The jetted tub was very relaxing. We ate all our meals at the cabin & their cookware was very nice. The stove was old, but worked fine.'

'We arrived and were blown away right from the start. It was such a beautiful place. The gate and the bridge to get onto the property made it even more magical. The cabin does have a lot of steps but it was worth every one. We packed light per the recommendations and happy we did. 'The property was as advertised and privacy was one of our main goals. We were a bit disappointed that there was another house within view, but it was still quiet. The house was mostly clean though several pots and pans were called with food. The house would be fit from the addition of a dishwasher for sanitary reasons between guests. Other than that, we had a great time. '

'This property provided a great little getaway. We had all the needed essentials. The hot tub was roomy and felt great! The beds were comfortable. The air mattress is stored in the pantry. I enjoyed looking at the old pictures in there. We would stay again. Read the written directions before arriving because Google will not tell you which road to turn into.'

'The cabin was very nice, had almost everything we needed already onsite for the week. The area is beautiful, low traffic, and a short (beautiful) drive to red river gorge. Couldn’t be happier with the cabin, or the area. We have already discussed booking again next year.'

'Over all the stay was great… a few things though I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned better.. and was rather disappointed to find the charcoal grill with no charcoal, I think the listing should have said it was a charcoal grill so I knew to bring charcoal. Luckily we had a camping grill with us that we could use and the grill was not cleaned out by the last person or the host it was plumb full of ash..'

'This property was amazingly unique! Having only an outdoor shower and the closed in bathroom outside also. We were there right after Hurricane Helene hit. So that was interesting 😂. But I would 10/10 recommend to anyone. I would definitely keep the season/weather in mind though. There is a mini split keeping it cool. And space heaters to turn on when it’s cold. '

'What a beautiful cabin! We have stayed at many different cabins in the area over the last few years and this is hands down our most favorite cabin!! So roomy, clean, and beautiful inside and out! We were only there for two nights and we did not want to leave. The beds are very cozy too! We hiked Suzanna’s Arch for the first time before we headed home which was beautiful too. Thank you for including that arch in the book. We will be back! '

'The property is a geographical wonder. Love how the house is located beside the rock wall and how they have used the outside to create unique spaces like the fire pit. It's really close to all the activities of RRG. We really enjoyed our time at Big Rock cabin. '
