'We stayed here to experience Raystown Lake for a long weekend. Our Labradors were welcome to stay which is key for us. The accommodations were perfect for us and the pups with plenty of parking for our Pontoon boat and truck. It was minutes from town and the lake. It was a perfect balance of a quiet wooded retreat but with internet, TV and full kitchen. We plan to come back and bring some friends! '

'Stayed there to go to a Penn State game and then see some sites. It is a great place, clean, basic and had what was needed to cook, clean up and relax. Slept four comfortabley, all beds are in one area. '

'Our second time staying at the brown roof cabin, and always have a great time. Love the seclusion, the rustic feeling of the cabin, and the closeness to the lake. We will be back again next year.'

'This property is fantastic and in a great location. The house is well kept and the surrounding property is beautiful. The inside of the home is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. There are 2.5 bathrooms and they are adequate for a larger crowd. Communication with the owner was super simple and he is very nice. My family loved our stay and would love to visit again in the future!'

'The cabin was huge and very roomy. You're a short walk away from the water, so you can float or kayak all day or have your boat come and pick you up at the shore. We had a slight issue with one of the beds, but the owners were on top of it and very kind. '

'I can't say enough positive things about the River House. It was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for the Penn State game weekend. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the place was super clean. It was very relaxing to sit on the adirondack chairs by the chairs!'

'To explain the ratings: I am a native of Huntingdon and the description of how close the property is to Juniata College, the hospital, and town is really erroneous. The location is beautiful, peaceful and quiet but it is a six mile drive to Huntingdon or a six mile drive to Cornpropst Mills on very windy, but paved, narrow roads. I know the road because I learned to drive on it, but it isn't for the faint of heart, especially at dark. I knew the shortcut roads, but I bet not many other visitors...
