'Obviously being on the island, it's an older property, but it was clean and well kept. At the time we stayed it was in the off season but still enjoyed our stay. Conveniently locate right across the street from the ferry dock. I would definitely stay here again. '

'It was our first time in the UP and the lodge was perfect. My wife and I loved, and spent most of every evening in the lounge area playing the pinball and dart games. If we ever make it up that way again, we will definitely be staying at the lodge. Even the couple that we came to visit didn’t know it was here and are getting there family members to stay there when they visit. '

'This unknown gem of a lake in Upper Michigan was the perfect retreat for our friends visiting from California, Florida, Illinois, and Georgia. The host was more than accommodating to any need, and the amenities were more than I have experienced at any other rental. Our guests fell in love with the UP thanks to the Grandview Lodge.'

'The entire family stayed to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas all together! There was plenty of room for all 14 of us, along with plenty of activities for the kids. The kitchen was stocked, but definitely could use better frying pans and bakeware of some sort. We had to make a quick run for aluminum pans to use in the oven. We also were unable to locate any dish cloths and there was only one dish towel. All in all…it was a great time spent with family. '

'Property is in an easily accessible location, with convenient day trips to hiking, waterfalls and forest. The property is set up for multiple guests. Some bedrooms perhaps overcrowded with beds, but it depends on your needs. We will only used the main bedroom. It had a nice balcony and view. Casual, not elegant, but perfect for our needs.
