'Maintenance was bad, not well cleaned. Very unprofessional follow up on fire alarm (twice in one night). Owner not sensible to guests with broken night. Poor breakfast. '

We had a standard turret bedroom and whilst it was spacious, the en suite was really small and felt like a shower had been squeezed into a room that used to be a toilet room. 'Swift and easy check-in. The family room had two bedrooms which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Could have done with a rubber bath mat but found out later we could have asked for one. Similarly de-caff tea and coffee I guess. We had our 4-year-old granddaughter with us but there were no issues with noise from the bar below. Limited menu but food was very good. Steaks were lovely. Nice pint too. Great breakfast. 'It’s a nice place for a pit stop. Only one brew permitted with your breakfast, even though it arrives 20 mins before your breakfast arrives. The EV charger is temperamental, make sure the staff have activated it after you have plugged in and paid. Other than that, all good.'
