Enjoyed our stay. Surprisingly spacious for a 1 bedroom. Great views. Lots of bird watching. We loved the multiple entertaining areas and especially the wifi, since service isn't great. The covered porch was well used for rainy evenings.

romantic little getaway
Enjoyed staying at this Vrbo. It is just as described a romantic getaway. Communication with the owner was excellent and the property was meticulously clean when we got there. Enjoyed using the kayaks boat and paddleboat on a beautiful Murphy lake. The weather was excellent, which helped us stay. Excellent Vrbo property we plan on returning next year

Peaceful and relaxing retreat
Wonderful views. Cottage was well equipped with all necessities and clean. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck looking out at the water. Our dog felt at home. Mark and Sherry are wonderful hosts going above and beyond. We extended our stay and wish we could of stayed longer. Plan on staying next year.

Cute Cottage
Thank you Sherry for a great experience this weekend at your cottage. It is so darn cute and we were so relaxed. Especially in the evening sipping on a glass of wine enjoying the fire on the covered porch. Love the Hawaiian theme. Definitely will come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. Great Lake Experience
Beautiful house. Very well equipped and well maintained. Thankful to have such a beautiful place that was also pet friendly. My objective was to find a pet friendly place on the water so that I could give my pooch the opportunity to swim a bit. This property accomplished that and more. It was particularly nice to have use of a small boat with electric motor so I could give Cooper that experience as well. The owner was nice enough to swing by and give me a quick overview of the boat/motor, fire pits, etc. Great communication with the property owner/manager. Nice neighborhood. Perfect.

A bit uncomfortable
Beautiful view of the lake. Cottage very clean. Stayed for 2 weeks. It became clear as we drove into the neighborhood lane that renters are not welcome in their lake neighborhood. There were anti- renter signs on all 9 neighbors yards - it was a bit uncomfortable to know that we were not welcome and we worked at maintaining a low profile.We hoped to do a lot of fishing but did not know the electric motor was a small trolling motor- it was faster to row.Did not explore the lake like we would have if we had larger motor. If we would have known about the small motor and the disapprovals of the neighborhood we would have passed in this rental.

Relaxing week for myself, husband and dog:)
Our 4th time staying at this beautiful hidden gem. We got a peaceful week with our dog who loves to swim in the lake. We relaxed on the deck with the gorgeous view of the sunset, grilled, enjoyed margaritas while our precious fur baby slept from exhaustion of swimming on the safely gated deck. Made smores at night, and enjoyed wine,,, I cannot say enough about this place, the fishing boat was our dogs favorite because she knew she was headed to the island to swim,,,so fun! Love this place. Very clean and very quiet and peaceful.

Very nice location, low key lake without much traffic. Aquacycle included in the rental which was easy to use. Close to Frankenmuth which we always enjoy visiting. Included all necessities, low maintainance clean up. Enjoyed our time here.

You won't want to leave!
First, I can't say enough about the views of Lake Murphy. This was one of the most relaxing and peaceful spots I've ever been to. We used the boat & took our pup Lucy swimming. Then I found the water float/raft in the shed & had to float around the water right out front. We took a short ride to Frankenmuth, but we mostly enjoyed the peace & quiet. Our Hosts Sherry & Mark were wonderful and took care of any issue we had. The place was clean and had every amenity you could want. However (and this is not a complaint), there aren't a lot of places to eat. You may want to bring your own food. Tina, Jim & Lucy

Enjoyed our stay immensely
An adorable well stocked home with a beautiful view on Murphy Lake. We had a wonderful time just relaxing and enjoying all the water sport activities. The home had two kayaks, a paddle boat and small boat with an electric motor. We also used the inflatable water toys! In the evening we enjoyed the beauty of watching the moon glisten over the water. Overall an outstanding visit that we will certainly like to enjoy again. Thank you to Sherry and Mark the owners who graciously took us out on a pontoon boat ride one evening, wonderful people.

Amazing!!
This home is exactly as described and was perfect for what we needed. Being originally from the area, it was great to have our own place for the week that we were back in town and spending time on the porch overlooking the lake was such a peaceful way to start and end each busy day of visiting friends and family. We have traveled all across the country, with our dogs, and have to say that this was the most well appointed and stocked home that we have stayed at! And so clean, which is even more important. We would definitely love to come back when we are in the area again. Sherry and Mark are outstanding hosts! Highly recommend!

We spent three nights at this beautiful cottage with a stunning view of the lake. The owners were very communicative and prompt. We particularly enjoyed the extra-large chair and ottoman by the patio doors, which provided a relaxing spot to take in the scenery. We highly recommend this cottage.

Beautiful Cottage on the Lake!
The house was very clean and inviting with fun furniture and a great view! Sherry and Mark left a lovely note of welcome and a delicious box of local chocolates. That was very sweet but, my favorite part was the dog accessories including dog bowls and sheets so our pups could sit with us on the furniture! a good time was had by all.

A Lovely Cottage on the Lake!
My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the cottage and would have loved to have stayed longer if time had permitted us on our travels through Michigan from Florida! The cottage was very clean and we felt welcomed by the personal note and chocolates left by the owners. Everything we could have needed and more was supplied in the cottage. The weather was chilly so we enjoyed using the fire pit on the patio area in the evening. Sitting outside and looking out over the lake in the cool, crisp mornings and listening to the sounds of nature was so beautiful and refreshing! We took a daytrip into nearby Frankenmuth for some shopping and a chicken dinner at Zehnder's which was also fun. Communication with the owners was very easy. They were very friendly available to answer any questions we had. We hope to make it back for a longer stay at this lovely cottage on the lake in the future!
