'My husband and I recently spent a night at the historic Davenport Inn while visiting with our children. What a gorgeous property! Self check-in instructions were clearly communicated (including photos of parking area), the room was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Convenient location, convenient parking! Highly recommend staying at the Davenport should you visit the Portsmouth area. I know we will!'

'Central position closed to main shops. Room was great, nice size clean and modern. Breakfast was also fine , lots of choices. Overall i would definitely stay again in future.'

'The sunset suite was wonderful. Great location and loved the balcony’s off the living room and bedroom. My two issues were how limited and confusing parking was. Nothing to put on your car and you’re crammed into this small lot making you scared to leave the spot if you had to. Also water pressure and temperature was terrible in the shower. The music from the bar down below is quite loud however I knew that going into making my reservation. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay...
