'When we first arrived, we were immediately very impreased by the cleanliness and coziness of the property. The check in process was very straight forward and easy to follow (and so was the check out process). The owner was extremely nice and accomodating. They made sure that all of our needs were taken care of, even going as far as offering to shovel the snow from the walkway if so desired, and making us delicious scones presented in a cute little box. 'I was in town for the Grazing Hills Fiber Festival to sell my beautiful alpaca fiber and needed somewhere cool and quiet to spend the weekeend nights. It was a cute studio, with everything I needed! The AC unit blocked out the upstairs footsteps, which helped. Parking was great! And nice to be able to walk to food! Will consider staying here next summer. Thank you!'

'What a great location for us to stay for the weekend! It’s only about a 5 minute drive to U of I campus where my daughter will be an incoming freshman this fall. The flat is very small and probably better suited to a couple of people. It was a bit of a tight squeeze with 3 of us in the apartment, but we made it work. The property was clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend Fried Egg Flat if you’re in town for a quick weekend. We would definitely stay again!'
