'Het ontbijt was perfect. Kamer is netje maar klein. Badkamer netjes. Maar voor de verdere rest geen ruimte om te zitten of wat te drinken. Dus alles moest op je slaapkamer gebeuren. De prijs voor dit alles was aan de hoge kant.'

'It’s a small, cozy, beautiful place. Very quiet and clean. With an amazing breakfast. The owners-Mary and Tim are like parents. Very caring, super kind, always ready to help. One day i didn’t have a time to eat breakfast, so they gave me a breakfast and a lunch with me to go. Amazing place and a wonderful people. Truly recommend to everyone. '

'My wife and I stayed three nights at the Whakaipo Lodge as part of a 12 day NZ vacation. We have traveled to many countries and stayed and some wonderful venues. My wife and I agree that Whakapio Lodge ranks as our favorite. Angie and Garth are amazing hosts. The room we had was spacious, private, modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
