'We didn’t actually stay. I booked the room for my husband and his employees who were working on disaster clean up for the hurricane. Men who were exhausted and working for days without sleep or showers. Out of state. Paid for and booked this property just to get a message from the property owner after paying and not being able to cancel saying that the property was not for rent due to the hurricane. Then they stopped responding completely. '

There are several small towns within easy driving distance that offer everything you would ever need. 'I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the beds. The sheets had hair and glitter in them. I sanitized a comforter and covered the couch. It had glitter on it also. I slept on the couch and left a day early. I was afraid to use anything in the kitchen. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow and blanket.'

'What a beautiful, grand, old southern house. I felt like I stepped back in time but with touches of modern amenities. Very relaxing and set in a country landscape. Perfect for our small Executive Board retreat! '
