'House of 1833 was the most unique B&B we have ever stayed in. When we arrived, we were greeted by Evan, who was simply delightful. Entering the home, at first glance when going inside, we were overwhelmed by the beautiful antiques and collections, the ornate decorations and the simple beauty of the stately home. After a lovely tour of the home Evan took us to our room - the "Ivy" room - which was lovely. It was a nice touch for an old home like this to have a TV in the room as some don't do...

'Wij hadden de kleinste kamer geboekt tegen een hele scherpe prijs. Het bed was uiterst comfortabel. Geen koelkast of waterkoker, maar roomservice bracht gratis ijs om de drankjes te koelen. Erg mooie faciliteiten, zoals een verwarmd buitenzwembad. Prettig dat er ook badjassen op de kamer hingen, zodat je echt als 'spa-gast' door de accommodatie kon lopen. '

'Simple, straightforward hotel. Property was clean and well maintained. Easy parking, easy access to highway. On-site restaurant was small but ok. Would stay again.'

'I like the big space , 2 sinks , one in the bathroom and one outside , clean , complete with microwave and refrigerator. I don’t like the stained towel and noisy AC, out of service ice machine.'
