Dit is echt het romantische toevluchtsoord waar je naar op zoek was of de gezellige ontsnapping uit je verantwoordelijkheden thuis! Je hebt het allemaal in deze privé blokhut op de top van de heuvel die uitkijkt over het mooie dorp Wimberley.

De cabine is ontworpen voor twee gasten. Canyon Vista biedt een comfortabel queensize bed in de master en een volledig gevulde keuken. De woonkamer is ideaal om lekker te liggen of te ontspannen met veel leesplezier. Zet op die koele of koude nachten de elektrische open haard aan en kijk uit het raam naar het prachtige heuvellandschap. De kans is groot dat u zult ontdekken hoe dicht u bij de natuur bent en dat u misschien een hert voorbij ziet wandelen. Ga 's nachts op het dek zitten en kijk naar de adembenemende uitzichten en fonkelende sterren boven je. Kom en ontspan onder de sterren in het privé-bubbelbad met een waterval gemaakt voor twee.

Canyon Vista ligt op slechts enkele minuten van het dorp Wimberley. Canyon Vista zal de ontsnapping zijn waar je steeds weer op terug wilt komen.

Peaceful and relaxing
My husband and I stayed here for his birthday weekend. The cabin is located just a short drive from town, and it is very quiet and peaceful here. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the stars in the evening. It is located behind the home, giving privacy from the road that runs right in front of the cabin (which has very little traffic). You will need to bring some kitchen supplies with you, as there were only basic kitchen supplies (a pair of scissors to open packaging and salt and pepper would have been nice to have in place as many other properties do). Overall, the property was clean, although the hot tub needed to be cleaned, as there was some sand in there from the path, and we had a couple of small roaches in the kitchen.

Awesome cabin in low traffic area.
We loved it here. On the cold nights we were able to really use the hot tub and it made for an amazing evening. We saw 2 cars total all weekend coming through the area. It was quiet, and the stars were beautiful. It is also very close to everything you want in town. Great combo of the classic bones of the home and some modern amenities for xomfort. We especially loved the "historic" sign on the front! Can't wait to come back again sometime.

Overall great little cabin! Clean and as described and the location is perfect if you seek privacy. Only thing to be prepared for is all of the moths that love the porch light and are eager to enter the cabin. Would definately stay here again!

Lovely Private Getaway Minutes from Everything
My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary this last weekend and it was so lovely. I was worried about privacy since it was right on the road, but it isn't a high traffic area at all and most of the time it felt like we were all alone on a mountain top. It was so cute and just what we needed, and on top of that its only a few minutes from the downtown Wimberley area which we were at a lot, and about 15-20 to several swimming areas we went to including blue hole, jacobs well, and cypress creek falls. This city is a magical little gem, and this cabin made the experience that much more special. The host were very helpful and responded quickly when I had a few logistical questions, which was great. Definitely recommend for a couples weekend spot.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. We loved everything about it. The only thing I will recommend the owner is for the kitchen pictures to be renewed. My wife is a cook and we had bought items to make breakfast - well there was no stove as the picture had indicated. Unfortunately we had to throw away some of the groceries - not all. However, we enjoyed our anniversary stay here and would book again in the future. We loved it!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. The bed and pillows were probably the most comfortable I’ve slept in any rental ever! It was a great location to everything we did; shopping, eating, zip lining, breweries. The outside was perfect to relax and enjoy the sounds of the night. My only complaint for this cabin is the shower, it had no water pressure and the hot water was lukewarm at the most otherwise I’d stay again!

No Hot Water in Shower
There was dust on the air conditioner above the bed....there was no closet for hanging or placing garments. The couch needs to be replaced....filthy. The "refrigerator" is a small cooler type and the freezer was iced over and could not hold a small bag of ice. Even there is an outdoor firepit, which is one of the reasons I booked the place, could not be used based upon the instructions on the inside of the cabin. Would never stay there again, and I certainly will not recommend this property to anyone.

Weekend getaway
We loved the little cabin’s location and the quiet evenings we got to spend around the fire pit and the hot tub. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were fresh. It was a great way to relax and recharge. Cabin was also close enough to enjoy some local eats, shops and drinks. However, we found the cleanliness of the place to be a bit disappointing, especially since a cleaning fee is included in our pricing. The window unit and some light fixtures had dust build up. The floors were very gritty especially in the bathroom. The bathroom also had mold looking buildup behind the toilet near the shower. The dishes all needed to washed out before use from the amount of dust in the space.

Canyon Vista was a great place to stay. The host needs to take care of some things: the batteries in the remotes were all dead, even the clock on the wall had dead batteries, only one burner on the stove works, no firewood for the firepit, no coffee, 8 different remotes, again with either no batteries or dead batteries. There were no instructions on how to use anything.

Was nice besides moths
This is a great place to stay and overall give it a 4/5. There were quite a few moths that were inside the cabin and was sometimes annoying dealing with them. The only other complaint was the bedroom has no door to it. Other than those things the cabin was great for my wife and I as a little gateway. Would book again for the same price. Hot tub is a huge bonus!

Cabin Getaway
My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway for a few days. We wanted something more secluded with a cabin feel. This was perfect nestled up a windy wooded road towards the top withe very little presence of cars or neighbors. The cabin was perfect but we did not really cook meals. It had a nice smaller refrigerator and microwave but older small stove we didn’t use. Bed was comfortable and room was cozy. The bathroom was cramped, small older shower and toilet but was fine for us for we were looking for older rustic place. Towels and all amenities were perfect for what we were looking for. We enjoying the hot tub, beautiful views,and being so close to downtown with so many shops and good restaurants . A few negatives for us were we arrived early to shop and eat but our email said if we anrrived earlier than 4 ,we would be charged 50 for each hour before. We also thought 10:00 was too early for a checkout. We have never been asked to leave a place before 11. We knew the weather would be perfect so we enjoyed sightseeing, the hot tub and outdoors. If we were looking for an indoor getaway retreat I would look for a bigger updated bathroom and updated stove/ oven for cooking. We were happy with our stay for what we were looking to escape busy traffic and enjoy a peaceful nature stay.There is no closet space but they did offer many unique hooks and organizers for hanging clothes with towels.

Straight out of a movie!
The cabin was so cute and perfect for a quick two day trip. I wish there were more comfy blankets around but other than that it was sooo nice. The hot tub was fantastic!!! Such a relaxing way to end the night.
