Huge bedrooms, comfortable beds, good A/C, well-equipped kitchen, $10 spend per room per night on lobby snacks, helpful front desk. Lots to commend this midtown/upper east side hotel. But boy is the street noise something. Sound-proofed windows would certainly help. We were on a higher floor and I sleep with ear plugs. Still it was noisy. The bathroom was tiny and shabby. A shame because the bedroom and beds were great. If they invest in some better soundproofing I would return. Otherwise, not.
