'Me and my family love this beach cottage! We had rented it back in 2018 and had a great time so we returned this year and will return again in the future. The cottage is right on the sand, 2 blocks down from the boardwalk, so you can easily walk or ride a bike to get to the pier or any of the many shops and restaurants. The only issues we had were: 1. 'Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids.'

'We’ve always been smitten with the island and this lovely historical cottage was perfect for our extended stay. Between the grill with propane ready to go and the modern appliances and the well equipped kitchen,dining in was east and fun. Comfy beds, laundry access, and AC unit were great. John was a very communicative and generous hist - great experience!'

'We arrived with instructions to retrieve the front door key from a lock box. We opened the lock box only to find it was empty. We called our host numerous times, emailed and texted. We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success. We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. After numerous calls back and forth they agreed to cancel our booking and begin the process for refunding our money in full. I...

It had everything you needed for the beach which was huge for us as we flew and couldn’t bring a ton with us. Has ac in every room which was super nice. Parking was convenient and you had your space to park in garage. You could walk to the beach and near by restaurants. '

'We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean with plenty of enough linens and towels. We loved having 2 bikes and beach chairs in the garage saved us from having to rent. Host was responsive when I had a few questions and took care of my needs right away. I would recommend to anyone that wants a quick get away it is close to the beach and right across the street from the store which makes getting food back to the house easy.
