Onze prachtige appartement kijkt uit over de grote waterval in het grote schoot zwembad en spectaculaire Arubain zonsondergangen kunnen worden gezien vanuit onze ramen en patio. Geniet van het vredige geluid van palmen die in de wind blazen terwijl u geniet van pina colada's en plan uw volgende dag. Wij zijn gelegen 1/2 mijl van Palm Beach, hoogbouw hotels casino's en bekroonde restaurants. Geniet van uw dag op het strand, jetski rond de aquakleurige oceaan, of misschien wilt u een dag golf boeken, we zijn slechts 1 mijl verwijderd van de 18-holes golfbaan van Tierra Del Sol.
De unit is 1 slaapkamer volledig ingericht, voorzien van airconditioning en is geschikt voor 4 personen. De keuken is volledig uitgerust. Geniet van dvd's of Netflix of duizenden online keuzes op de 42-inch tv of leun achterover en luister naar wat muziek op de stereo-installatie. Het apparaat heeft ook onbeperkt high speed internet, recht in het apparaat. De unit heeft een zeer luxe luxueus kingsize bed.
Het complex heeft 26 particuliere eenheden en is zeer veilig. Wij bieden alles wat u nodig heeft voor een geweldige vakantie. Voor meer informatie bezoek ons op


Veel dingen te doen op Aruba: er zijn watersportcabines langs het strand als u wilt snorkelen, duiken, windsurfen, varen, diepzeevissen enz. Als je je eigen snorkelspullen hebt, zijn er veel plekken waar je zelf kunt gaan snorkelen. Malmok Beach en Arashi Beach en langs dit gebied zijn de plekken om te snorkelen. Veel mensen gaan ook naar Baby Beach aan de andere kant van het eiland om te snorkelen.

Alle stranden op Aruba zijn openbaar. Je vindt veel plekken langs de stranden met hutten en je kunt deze gebruiken en wat strandlakens meenemen, enz.

De casino's bevinden zich in alle grote hotels: Westin, Radisson, Hyatt, Marriott en het centrum in Oranjestad, The Crystal en Seaport Casinos. Ze zijn open tot in de vroege uurtjes van de ochtend. De winkels in Oranjestad zijn op zondag gesloten. De supermarkten zijn open op zondag, maar slechts een halve dag. We hebben een kleine supermarkt tegenover Wacamaya, genaamd Ting Wei. Het is geopend van maandag tot en met zaterdag van 8 - 9 uur en op zondag tot 18.00 uur.

Op zondag, als u op zoek bent naar een lokale maaltijd, hebben veel plaatsen BBQ., Rond lunchtijd. Een plaats waar we zijn geweest is het Chinese restaurant, de nieuwe Wei Tei en ze rekenen 13. 50 AFL voor een lading voedsel, waaronder ribben, kip, rijst, koolsalade, maïs. Eén bestelling is veel eten. Het gaat uit.

AC problems
The apartment was comfortably furnished. Pool was nice. Some of the property information was misleading: there was reference to watching all the free Netflix movies you wanted to, but when we got there found that was only with your personal login. The biggest problem was that we notified the property manager of a non-functioning bedroom air conditioner, he quickly responded that he had contacted his AC person, but the AC had still not been repaired when we checked out five days later!

We rented apt 14B in the Wacamaya Apts online through VRBO. It was a simple, smooth process. Anita and Dave, the owners, responded right away to our request. They continued to respond quickly to any questions we had, as well as to any questions or concerns while we were staying there. They are both great people and very easy to communicate with.

This was our 5th trip to Aruba and we have stayed at the Wacamaya condos before. It’s in a great location very close to Arashi beach which is our favorite. The condo was lovely and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The toilet had a broken fill valve when we arrived but we reported it to Dave and he sent the caretaker right away to fix it. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay
This is a condo in a very nice complex with gated parking. The pool area inside the walled in 26 unit complex is great. An oasis in the desert. It is surrounded by local residences, dirt, and some businesses across the street. If you want loud party atmosphere this is not the place. If you want isolation from the locals and oceans views from your room this is not the place. If you don't want to rent a car this is not the place. However, if you want a nice condo with a great relaxing pool in an extremely convenient location where you can go to a different beach every day using your rented car and pick a different fantastic restaurant each night this is the perfect option. Dave and Anita are great hosts and got back to me very quickly anytime I contacted them. If you have not been to Aruba yet, driving around is easy, all beaches are public and parking is easy anywhere, and it's one of the safest islands you can visit.

The property was just as advertised. Very clean, had everything we needed: paper goods, beach chairs, cooler, gas grill on property, pool, parking, tv, A/C, fully equipped kitchen, quiet neighborhood, gated entrance, comfortable bed and couches. We rented a car which I would recommend, the beach and high rise area is a couple miles and it is really to hot to walk. Highly recommend Tropic Car Rental. Dived with Palm Beach Divers, great service, picked me up at the condo and would drop me at the beach afterwards. We will return. Thanks Anita and Dave.

Peaceful oasis
We’ve stayed at this complex before and its just beautiful. This unit is fantastic. It had everything we needed for our stay. Cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen was wonderfully stocked. Large selection of books to read. Short drive to the beach, in a great location. We entered around the Marriott area daily. King bed was super comfy. The unit was very clean. Owners were great at replying to our questions. Will definitely return in the future.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and convenient apartment
The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and convenient to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. Aruba is very safe but my husband and I felt even more secure being in a gated community. Everything we needed was provided; plenty of bath, pool, and beach towels. Also, beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and a pool float. There were lots of drawers in the bedroom for storage and plenty of hangers and space in the closet to hang clothing. There was also an iron, ironing board, and safe but we didn't use them. We didn't do much cooking but anything you would need to prepare meals is available. As well as a full size refrigerator and freezer with an ice maker. The water pressure in the shower was strong and there was plenty of hot water. The air conditioners in the living room and bedroom worked very well and cooled the room in a few minutes. The king size bed was very comfortable, dreamy soft sheets. Another plus was sufficient toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues were provided. Another place we rented in Aruba only provided what was left on the roll and additional had to be purchased by us which I thought was very inconvenient and cheap! We enjoyed having TVs with lots of cable channels in the living room and bedroom and access to Netflix in the living room. The pool was quiet in the mornings and we were always able to find lounge chairs in the sun or shade. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony for morning coffee and evening drinks. Dave responded quickly to a maintenance request and showed me how to access Netflix which was much appreciated. Communication before and during our stay was never a problem. The only negative that I realize is out of Anita and Dave’s control was a rooster(s) crowing and dogs barking very early in the morning. We’re light sleepers and aren’t accustomed to morning noise so it would wake us but for others it might not be an issue. Luckily the apartment is at the end of the building that’s farthest from the road which would be noisier. Anita and Dave are fantastic hosts, we enjoyed having all of the comforts of home in paradise and would likely stay in the apartment again.

We really enjoyed ourselves!
The property was exactly as advertised. It was close to beaches and restaurants. We rented a Jeep for the week and traveled all over the island including off-road which was a highlight for my husband! The condo was clean and well appointed. Shower was large. There is a comfortable king bed for restful sleeping. The owners checked on us shortly after check in to make sure everything was in order. They provided everything we needed for an enjoyable week on the island including beach chairs, beach towels, pool float and cooler. The pool area is a beautiful oasis and we enjoyed it many afternoons upon returning from sightseeing on the island.

Great location - but not all that we expected
This was our 15th vacation in Aruba - we absolutely love this island, its people, and the climate. We typically stay at resorts and walk everywhere in Aruba, but having had four great experiences elsewhere with VBRO properties we decided to rent a local condo for two weeks. With only 28 units, this property is very quiet, has a beautiful waterfall pool with lovely landscaping, lots of tile work, and is close to many of the island attractions. The downside is that you absolutely need a rental vehicle when staying here. Although everything is within walking distance, most roads have heavy traffic, lack functional shoulders or walking paths, and there are no sidewalks to get you from this complex to your destinations safely. The laundry was out of commission during our stay which was a disappointment. Also, the unit does not have a phone, so plan to bring your cell or rent one on arrival. This unit looks good overall, it has lots of windows, is comfortable, and has a great view of the pool & courtyard from the balcony. However, the bedroom blinds do not open and, for the price, the kitchen supplies and other general amenities are definitely lacking compared to what we experienced in the other VRBO properties we've rented. That said, Anita was very responsive to any questions we had, sent us suggestions about area restaurants and beaches, and provided good details about the security & access to the complex. Her directions to the property are clear and she provides tons of information about both the property and the surrounding area. This is a great little condo complex and worth looking into as an alternative to the faster pace of the island resorts.

Great place for a relaxing stay
Dave and Anita were great hosts and even though we didn’t meet with them directly they were super quick to respond to any questions. The unit worked well for us and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed having a kitchen and found the grocery stores in Aruba just as good or better than what we have at home. The pool at the condo was good for swimming but not quite a resort type of pool that you would want to spend hours a day there. The location of the condo was maybe just a bit far to walk to the beach but we had a car and preferred Eagle Beach anyway and needed the car to take the chairs and cooler with us. Everything in the condo was clean and in good working condition and the shower felt great We would stay here again as this unit worked great for us

Cozy Stay
First time we have rented through VRBO, and first time not doing an all inclusive vacation. We totally loved it, specially when you aren't planning on staying put at a resort, this is the way to go. I would not hesitate to rent privately again. Anita has made the experience easy, she always responded quickly with any enquiries I had. The condo is just like the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the couch as well, never tried the pull out so can't say but have napped on the couch a few times. Both air conditioners worked well, even after being off for most of the day, we found the place not hot at all and once we turned on the a/c, it didn't take long to have the place cold. Kitchen was fully equip, was only missing a can opener (or I couldn't find it). Ice maker was handy for packing extra ice in the cooler, we brought our own cooler but they had a couple in the unit to use, the beach chairs they provided came in handy as we would often go to beaches that had no services. Loved the large shower. Water pressure is excellent, lots of hot water, actually too much lol, found that the water came naturally hot, never had to turn the hot water on. We never had the chance to use the bbq, but the pool area was paradise in itself, only used it twice and it was always quiet. Most of the time the pool was empty specially during the day, as other guest are often out and about. The only thing I would add is that they should have an outside shower, just to quickly rinse off after a swim. Or before, there were times we came from the beach and would have loved to jump in the water but I was full of sand, so I had to go upstairs first to rinse my feet off first before heading to pool. It's probably reason why we hardly used it cuz once inside the unit, I never went out again. The place was secure, I always felt safe, the main gate was broken, I believe the parking lot is supposed to be gated as well but at the time of our stay it was down as one of the contractor backed into it. The roofers were replacing the roof but we were never bothered as we are out first thing in the morning. The location of the condo is great, close enough to main attractions but far enough to enjoy quiet time. We would definitely rent with Anita and Dave again. And yes, I highly recommend their place.

Perfect escape from crowds
Nice unit with a perfect escape from the beach resort crowds. Unit is extremely close to all the things you would want to do in Aruba. Great pool to relax in the evenings. AC units kept temperatures perfectly comfortable. Love the use of lock box so no need to keep up with key during our excursions. Unit is exactly as pictured, Back of property, so some privacy from pool visitors and main road. You should rent a car to stay here. Owners had excellent response time and great advice on the area. Would certainly stay again. Perfect week.

Loved the wacamaya condo
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Wacamaya condo. We were so grateful that they provided everything we needed. It saved us so much money to have all the small items on hand. The beach chairs were also wonderful and saved us the chair rental fee. The condo feels homey and comfortable. Anita and Dave were great and answered any questions right away. I would certainly recommend their condo to any one who wants a relaxing no stress place to stay.

Dave and Anita, your place was great! Thanks for a beautiful vacation! You were super responsive to our inquiries, the condo was clean and very comfortable, parking was easy. We loved breakfast (and sometimes dinner) on the balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped garden and the welcoming pool. Your directions were spot on and within just a few days we were enjoying Aruba like locals. The condo was well maintained and it’s especially lovely that you provide starters of basic household needs (e.g., soap, toilet paper, sponge,paper towels). No risk, no reward.
My girlfriend and I decided to take a "leap of faith" and go into a foreign country using a service we were unfamiliar with (VRBO) to meet our housing needs. What we found during the process was friendly, of high value and ultimately the best vacation we have been on in a long time. We were contacted quickly by the owners' of the property and given a welcome packet of instructions. I subsequently contacted the owner about local contacts for vehicle rental and was given a great option. I'm sure most of you are wondering about the condo. So let's jump into that. The neighborhood is a mix of new and old. I would compare it to a very clean and safe version of Mexico. The secure parking was excellent. The "common area" and pool was one of our favorite parts of the experience. We could go back and never leave the condo on a future visit. That is how much we loved it. The condo itself had decent finishes. I particularly loved the large shower and well equipped kitchen. The couch in the living room is a pullout that we didn't use, but as a couch it was wonderful. The balcony was great, and the upstairs location was wonderful too. Overall, the unit was very quiet with the exception of the crazy neighborhood rooster that decided to crow at 4:30 am every day. It wasn't an issue, just an observation. Like I said earlier, the kitchen was well appointed. We cooked at least once every day and could have had every meal there if we wanted. The local supermarket is adequate, but we preferred the modern "Super Food" down the road a mile or so. The bedroom had plenty of storage space for clothes in the dressers provided. It did lack a bit of vertical closet space, but it wasn't an issue for us. The mattress was comfortable and bedding was nice. The entertainment center / tv area in the living room was great. We had access to wifi and a Roku unit was installed. It also had a stereo system as well. I would recommend taking a portable speaker with you for the pool. I don't like reviews that don't contain some "negatives" for the property. So here is that section. The lock on the front door and lockbox for keys was a bit unusual, but functioned properly once we figured it out. As stated in the welcome packet, managing the A/C properly is a must. I like it cooler, but found that you needed to be ok with say 72 degree temps at night. Final thoughts.... DO not miss out on this property. It was perfect for us and we will be back. Loved!

Our stay was great. The location is really close to the high rise hotels. but the best thing was this unit is one of 28 private units. Private pool . Never over crowded. Will stay there again.

Great condo
The condo was very nice, clean and comfortable. Info from the owners was very clean and helpful. Condo is also located in a great part of town with easy access to beaches, shopping and dining. Great place to vaca!!

Live like a local in Aruba at 1BR/1BA condo in Noord
The apartment complex is located in a gated condo building in Noord, about 8 minutes from nearby beaches. The nice thing about Aruba, is that other than the highrise/low rise condo beaches (which are lovely but hard to find parking), there are many gorgeous beaches you can drive/park and visit all over the island. The apartment is exactly as pictured, with thoughtful touches like 2 beach chairs, coolers, ample beach towels. The apartment is in good condition, with nice finishes (granite countertops, stone shower area). There is construction happening in lot next to the condo complex, and roosters crowing/dogs barking at various times in evening, so if you are light sleeper, you might need earplugs. The hosts, Anita/Dave are extremely responsive and helpful and do everything they can to make you feel welcome and respond to any issues.

This condo was an excellent find. Looks just like the photos. Very nice and comfortable, they have all the amenities just like home. The owners are great communicators and checked on us upon arrival. The grounds are neat, the pool is nice. We felt very safe and enjoyed ourselves. We are veterans to aruba and have stayed in this area before but this is by far one of the best. Do not hesitate to rent this place! Thank you David and anita, we will be back.
