'First and foremost - we had a lovely stay. The house is warm and clean and has all you need. The small town is very picturesque, and the pool is an easy walk and fun for hours. You'll see/read that the house is hard to find, and it is, but it helps to know that the name "Grund- I" is over the door and Fagrohvill is on the side of the house facing the street. 'Centrally located to visit Myvatn region. Very clean, spacious and convenient rooms who do not really have an interesting outside view though. But who cares, you don't come to this region to stay in your room. The view from the main building is much more open to the countryside on one side and looking directly into the stables on the other side. The restaurant/bar is very nicely decorated, staff is very friendly and helpful and food served is really good. For us this was our favorite guesthouse...
