Strandhotels in Noordelijke vlaktes

'Loved the huge, beautiful grounds and the activities offered at the resort. We did the tubing and horseback riding - great fun and so convenient that it was at the resort. Concierge was very helpful finding us local tours, arranging transportation, etc. And good dining options too. We ate every meal at the resort except lunch during excursions. Really convenient and relaxing to have good dining at the resort. We loved the hot springs by the river, especially the one right above the waterfall....

'This place is so beautiful! All the rainforest jungle landscaping is phenomenal. The location is perfect in the middle of all activities and the view of the volcano is the best. We had both a sunny day, cloudy and rainy day and all were great there. The hot springs are well shaded from sun and rain. The buffet breakfast is great and my kids loved the nachos, burgers and wood-Fire pizza at the bar. Their Asian salad was amazing as well! I was happy with the prices being very reasonable -...

'The rooms were very nice. We liked the view from the second floor. The Gardena were beautiful and my family loved the pool and the jacuzzi's. Good breakfast with a cook who prepated the eggs on demand. A view on the Arenal from our room (we saw the top just for a few seconds). '

'It's very nice to be able to get to the hot pools kind of straight from your room. The room though, called a "deluxe suite" is a regular room with two small chairs. The bathroom actually is very spacious. The restaurant is mediocre at best. Service was fine. '

'Heel goed hotel, waarschijnlijk de mooiste, als je daar in die omgeving in Costa Rica moet of wilt zijn. Het hotel is prachtig gelegen en ademt een rustgevende sfeer. In de omgeving is behalve het national parc en het wandelen in de natuur niet heel veel te doen. Het zwembad is goed onderhouden en mooi. Het restaurant is zeker goed maar niet echt goedkoop. De villa's zijn ruim met zowel een mooie douche binnen en ook buiten aan de achterzijde.'
