'The property was lovely and relaxing. It was located in a gorgeous neighborhood. Only two suggestions, (1) let people know to bring slippers before they head to the mansion, (2) inform people staying in the upstairs rooms of the carriage house that the stairs are steep and difficult to climb'

'The home is so amazing to walk through and take in all the historical features of architecture. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and created a warm atmosphere for staying away from home after the holiday. We had the terrace room and were disappointed we could not use it due to the cold and snow. We plan to stay in that room again when the weather is nice so we can enjoy the view of the other beautiful homes on the street. '

'Choosing this gem away from the usual hub of Canal Street was the best decision! We enjoyed the in-room hot tub, comfortable bed and cozy fireplace. Aside from wishing for 3-prong outlets near the couch, a bench at the end of the bed for clothing/suitcases, a way to use and see the TV from the bed,, and non-slip stairs up to the whirlpool, we were very happy with everything else…especially the library, garden room and gorgeous staircase. Beautiful stay. Thank you! '
