La Quinta Inn & Suites-accommodaties in Normandy Shores

"I was downgraded to a lower category room and it took 40 mins to check me in even though I had prepaid for the room. Instead of being honest about this, reception staff said “I’m sorry about the wait, I’m just trying to make your stay extra exceptional.” When I eventually saw the room and noticed that I had been downgraded, I went to reception again - only at this point did they admit that I had received a downgrade as they had no rooms available. Room credit of USD 44 could not he used in full as it was applied to the lowest transaction the the hotel rather than one where the full credit would have been used. The room was not maintained greatly. I had to remove limescale of the shower head to ensure flow of water. Shower gel had not been refilled when I checked into the room. I had to ask twice over two days until this was done. Location is convenient, especially if you’re looking to do some shopping. Restaurants have quite cool concepts, but no need to stay at the hotel to experience this. Staff on check-out also not particularly helpful, didn’t even ask how my stay was. I guess they go by the motto: “if you don’t want the answer to a question, don’t ask…” If you’re looking for good service, don’t choose this hotel."

"Goede locatie, vriendelijke no nonsens service. Gedateerd hotel verder, wel ruime kamer. Helaas is het probleem met de tv (reclame's in beeld door een verkeerde afstandsbediening) niet verder opgepakt."

"de ingang is weinig somptueus. de kamers zijn ruim maar niet proper , verouderde zetel (met gaten in ). bed zeer laag en doorlegen. douchedeur gaat niet (helemaal) toe douche spuit alle kanten uit. aan zwembad zijn de beste ligzetels extra te betalen ..."

"What I loved most about staying at the Sonder was the amazing staff, easy and quick no-contact requests and the outside pool area - such a great place to just hang out, vibe to the good music and connect with the diversity of guests. Sonder definitely is a better way to stay. "

"Ligging was niet ideaal en prijzen erg duur. Maar verder prachtig hotel."

"We hebben hier 2 keer verbleven. Eerste keer was kamer heel ruim. Tweede keer hadden we zelfde kamer geboekt maar kregen we een heel kleine kamer waar je met 4 personen en 4 koffers amper binnen kon. Veel nachtlawaai omdat het hotel maar enkel glas heeft. Langs ene kant ligt drukke baan en langs andere kant een kanaal waar ook 's nachts wel eens boten met luidruchtige passagiers langs varen. Uiteindelijk lukt het slapen wel. Ontbijt zeer goed naar amerikaanse normen (zelf wafels bakken, omelet, ...)"
