'I was optimistic because of the pictures online. But this hotel and room were so bad, I forfeited the $125 for the night and left after being in the room for 15 minutes. It looks like it was an old apartment complex that was converted. The parking is gated but still seemed insecure. The room was basic with a bed and tv. The AC unit was 30 years old and didn’t work, and the tv remote (which you are issued at check in) apparently wasn’t matched to the tv in the room. The bed had coils pushing...

'My husbad and I had a pleasant stay. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, customer service was excellent and everything was in descent working order. As for cleanliness, everything was clean and presentable except the floors. Walking on the floor turned my feet/socks black.The floors need to be mopped and cleaned every day as part of the daily tasks that come with cleaning the rooms and keeping them germ-free. However, i would stay ther again.'

'This was a cute little hotel. I was very surprised that there was no physical person on site for checking in. There is no ice machine. No microwave. These are things we expected and didn’t find. 'Het hotel heeft nette kamers alleen had die van ons een nare geur. Het rook naar eten alsof de vorige gasten er veel gekookt hadden. De geur verdween niet na een paar dagen. Het zwembadwater was vier. Er zat een soort witte laag over het water en verder zag het er troebel uit. Het ontbijt was simpel maar prima. '

'This hotel has all the basic essentials, including wifi, fridge and microwave (at the reception’s). They don’t serve breakfast but there is a coffee machine in the room and tea at the reception’s office. If needed there’s food and water for sale, of course you can always go to Target’s. The people are very kind. Room was clean. There’s soap and lotion available. There’s no noise from others. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat.'

"The hotel is completely new and modern. The lobby is on the 70th Floor with a magnificent view of the LA downtown skyline. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Staff is very friendly. Only minor point of comment is the not complete (at the time of booking via Expedia) transparency about the additional costs."

"What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace."

"Nice hotel with small but well equipped gym and rooftop pool. Rooms were minimalistic and stylish and spacious enough. Bed sleeps well. Ear plugs available in your hotel room. Enough breakfast and diner options in the area. "
