Spahotels in North Shore

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Overall the property was clean. The unit was older than expected and all appliances did not work. The beach is a 10 minute walk away but the first day it took nearly an hour since no directions to get there were provided. The view of the golf course was beautiful, however each morning at 5:30 someone started their day cutting weeds and it woke us up. Communication from the managers was very nice and inviting. '

'Wifi password should be posted within the room. Need bidet in the bathroom. I shouldn't have to take out my own trash. Checkout should be at 12pm since check in was at 4pm. Security guard was helpful and professional '

'Great location on a really pleasant beach with dining and great scenery nearby. The description indicated that there was no AC and I would be lying if I said the house didn’t need it. I’m sure natives are totally used to the heat and humidity but I’m from the gulf coast of south Texas and I found myself wishing there was an extra refrigerator large enough for me to climb in and sleep in.'

'One of the condos in gated resort area. Upper level unit 88, nice view. Clean and well equipped. No lanai/outside sitting area. Small swimming pool across the parking place. Bed located in the loft, where it was uncomfortably warm (mobile air cooler provided but too noisy for us; ceiling fan in main room did not help either, also not in indicated direction for the purpose).
