'That's what we were when we walked in...awe struck. Someone else wrote "hands down the best VRBO I've ever stayed in" and I agree! Wendy and David are awesome, everything was there as described, BUT! the pictures don't do the place justice. The decorating, cleanliness, the amenities, I could go on and on. This was our first time to St. Augustine and it's amazing, you can walk to anywhere from this house. The shopping, dining and tours, all top shelf! And the people of the city itself were very...

'This lovely place is perfect for a couple. You have everything needed from linens, hair dryer, bath/shower toiletries, to table wear, cookware and more! The hostesses have lots of little touches that I appreciated- snacks, water in the fridge, card games, home baked cookies, etc. The location is a hop, skip and a jump from historic St. Augustine. Good pizza (St. Auggies), good breakfast (Blue Hen) and even an awesome little Columbian cafe with great food/baked goods (La Cocina) all within a mile...

'My elderly parents were coming to Jacksonville for my grandsons wedding and needed a place to stay that would accommodate my moms physical limitations. The cottage was beautifully decorated and easy to maneuver through with a walker. The bathroom had a walk in shower. Location was quiet, safe and close to all JAX beach has to offer. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. My mom is looking forward to staying there again. '

The cottage was spotless, cozy, and ideal for a solo traveler. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to explore the city. Highly recommend!'

'Wonderful! Exactly as listed. Ample space for our girls get away with 3 separate sleeping areas and sitting rooms. Fantastic location with quick walk to St George Street. Relatively quiet in the evenings even with a Fri/Sat night stay and white noise machines in the bedrooms were a great surprise addition. House is stocked with essentials, decorated nicely, and hosts are super easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. Would return for future visits in the area. '

'I get woken up by a phone call 11:30 PM the night before check in saying the county has turned the water and electricity off. The county says it is uninhabitable. I had friends in the area and they sent me a photo showing the county shut them down three days prior to the call. The house was in shambles. No way someone was/will stay there. We had twelve family members coming. Some flying from NY. AND... this rental was for fourth of July week! Good luck finding a place for 12 people for the next...

"Het hotel was in een verbouwing, daardoor was er geen restaurant open. Er was ook wat overlast van bouwstof. Wat er lag aan stof ,was meer vies van niet schoonmaken. (Zoals haren en vies in de lift) Ook de kamer werd niet schoongemaakt,geen bedden opgemaakt .Drie keer moeten vragen om handdoeken,die werden niet automatisch verschoond. Zwembad was mooi, maar meubilair stond kris kras door elkaar. Voor dat geld ,vond ik dat het wel wat beter bijgehouden mocht worden. Er is een fijne sauna en stoomcabine waar je gratis in mag."

"This hotel is ideally located. Next to the Fountain of Youth and at walking distance of George Street. Also the design of the hotel itself is very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious. there is a parking lot foreseen just in front of your room. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Breakfast was basic, but ok."
