'There’s nothing better than being right on a beautiful stretch of beach. The house was nice too: comfortable beds, and a fully remodeled kitchen. Bring a couple baby gates for use on the deck, if you can. Negatives: small interior, Jack-and-Jill bathrooms'

'It’s hard to see from the pictures, but the walk to the sand dunes is approximately 25 yards. As soon as you are on the other side of the dune, you're on a beautiful beach. So it would take five minutes to get back to the house to grab more cold drinks or food for the kids. House must’ve been completely renovated within the last year or two. All of the appliances work perfectly. The washer and dryer are full sized and worked really well. The first morning everyone was waking up and complementing...

'This place was perfect for my husband and I, we are in our mid 60s and enjoyed the stay, sitting on the deck , watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee, or the sunset with a hot cocoa + something.....we used the second bedroom for our clothes, because the rooms are a little small, but we do that most of the time anyway....so no big deal for us....i just think it could be cleaner, it needs a long deep clean, like light switches, light hardware, inside the oven and id recommend to get some new...

'Loved this sweet spot on the beach. It's 100% as advertised. Well stocked kitchen, and for us, really fantastic decks. The one off the upstairs master is a nice bonus. We'd definitely stay here again!'

'We were in Oak Island to watch our son run the marathon and his fiancée run the 5k. It was a great weekend.The only thing I could say was a slight negative to the house were the stairs going into the house. There was only a partial handrail on one side. They should add the rest of the handrail. Other than that it was great! I wish it had been warmer to be on the beach. It’s a nice cozy place. Thank you!'

'This house was everything and more for our first time in OKI, the kids had a great time. This home was very spacious, and had everything we needed. If I had to make any comment it would be, I think a fire pit would be a lovely update to the home For the “late in the year” vacations and a cutting board to cut meats on after grilling! . Location to the beach is perfect! Thank you for letting us enjoy your house! '

'We made a last minute decision for a weekend (2 days prior) and the property manager was quick to respond and very accommodating. We had 2 adults, 6 teens and 2 younger kids and the space was perfect for us. '
