Firstly, when arriving at the airport, and due to the Tremont house not having a "house number" please make sure you tell security you are staying at Tremont Rental House on Enterprise Coastal Road, that will satisfy their needs. We had a little trouble communicating with Michael to get the exact address of the house but did find it by zooming up the rental picture and looking for land marks, lions on either side of the gate and the color of the house. Enterprise Coastal Road is a very busy road; at night you have those who want to speed past the house. Please bring ear plugs as there is no less than 30 dogs in the area and they bark all night. The dishwasher didn't work, the stove had to be lite with matches and the air conditioner in the master bedroom stopped working, soaking the futon and bedding below. We tried to contact Michael to get it fixed, unfortunately, we were unable to hear back from him before we vacated. The cleaning lady needs to spend some extra time cleaning the bathrooms and all around the walls of the house, about 3" from the floor you can see the dirt from the mop. The house needs some TLC. Aside from the above, the house was a good +; lots of bedrooms, washrooms, tables and chairs to suit a larger group like ours. You walk onto a cover deck before entering the house; table and chairs to sit outside, enjoy the fresh warm air, and no bugs. The beach is a few blocks away, a beautiful area to snorkel, surf, walk on the beach or picnic and look at the beautiful blue ocean. Bring lots of sunscreen!! Not too far from the house was a fish market; they skin, debone, and filet your choice; excellent variety of fresh fish. We travelled the island seeing many of the highlights, including the Canadian vs. Bajan Polo finals - fantastic. Lots of Rum distilleries to tour. Along the west coast we ate at a great restaurant while watching the waves come and go. Monkeys were playing in the road but quickly jumped into the trees as we got closer, we took lots of pictures (from the vehicle). Travel on the coastal road, awesome! The island hosts lots of historic landmarks including the Washington House, great history, wonderful tour guides, and a lovely little restaurant. Getting around was interesting, you drive on the other side of the road; after a couple of days the guys managed to relax. Everyone speaks English, very kind and so helpful. We would love to go back and would rent this house again. Miss Barbados already!
