'Beautiful traditional Japanese hotel. Very large rooms and a lot of facilities. Easy to reach from Nikko. Very nice hotel staff, they only don’t speak English very well. '

'夕飯も朝ご飯もブュッフェで豪華で種類も豊富でとにかく良かった！ 夜ご飯の時間帯が、人が多い時間帯で、思うように取りに行けず怯んでた娘たちでしたが、朝は早い時間なら空いていて、ゆっくりと食事を楽しめた。スタッフの方が、空いたお皿を絶妙なタイミングで片付けに来てくれたので、テーブル上を気にする事なくお代わりを取りに行けた。天空露天のお風呂は、山が正面に見え、その後ろからピンク色に染まる朝焼けが見れて荘厳な絶景。看板があるにも関わらず、携帯を持参して湯船に持ち込み、景色を撮っている人がいたのが唯一の残念だった…。気が付いていたけど誰も何も言えなかった…。他は文句なし！　また行きたいです。'

'Verzorgd en mooi klassiek hotel. De kamer was erg schoon en ruim. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het ontbijt was fijn. Wij hebben bijzonde genoten van de onsen die al bij de prijs in zat!'

'Great place to stay while in Nikko, its a bit away from the main part of the city- around 15min walk uphill, but the place is trully amazing and the thermal bath and sauna is cherry on top.'

'The hotel is old, it gives the feeling you've travelled back in time. We booked the hotel to experience classic room with futon beds. The view from the room was very nice. Breakfast / dinner buffet was fine. The room came with kimono / yukata and quite a lot of people were wearing them in the restaurant too. We had a non-smoking room. The room smelled a bit, but this is just from wooden materials in the room in combination with the hot weather. It certainly did not smell like someone had...

'I loved our huge room with private balcony onsen and the Japanese design of the room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were really good and for us more than sufficient in quantity. They have a rotating set of 3 different dinners, so day 4 = day 1, but for us that was fine. Bed was a bit on the hard side but I got used to it.'
