'Nice spot by the creek. The view from the balcony was great and peaceful. The one complaint is the walls are really thin, so you can hear everything. If you have kids, they may have a hard time sleeping at first until the tvs go off. Other than that, really nice stay!'

'This is probably the nicest rental property I’ve ever stayed in. The views were amazing, every room is spacious and has a bathroom. Highly recommend this place. Be aware that the house is at the top of a mountain on an unpaved road, so make sure you have a vehicle that can handle that. Simms and Hunter were both great and Hunter gave us a ride to and from downtown Asheville.'

'11 couples stayed two nights at the Lodge and had a wonderful time. I was initially concerned about sharing bathrooms, but it was not an issue. Having two stoves was a great benefit, and we loved playing pickle ball. We would love to come back for another retreat!! '

'This property was outstanding! We loved everything about it! It is such a unique home....very spacious, with great flow for both together time & private get-away-from -it-all "me" time, both indoors & out. 'Views were unmatched to any other rental. Cabin was beautiful. Property management company was attentive when minor issue came up and were easy to reach. Loft upstairs was very comfortable and plenty of space. The porch and hot tub with the views were great. The WiFi was weak most of the day and took forever to load but we were here for vacation not work so it didn’t matter. I’d recommend this cabin again! '

'overall stay was amazing, drive up to property was a bit nerving. Thankful my Toyota 4Runner had 4 wheel drive to handle the steep 2.5 mile up to the property. I feel this should have been mentioned in the property description before reservation confirmation.'

'We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. '

'Beautiful neighborhood close to everything. Well appointed home! Quiet and comfortable. Would suggest a few blinds on windows in main living area as homes are close together and did not feel comfortable for privacy purposes. No soap for bathing or dishwashing items where available upon arrival. Just went to store to purchase. Shower stopped working in 2nd bathroom but tub was available. Did not call maintenance for this. Had problems getting temperature comfortable due to high tec thermostat....
