'Lovely location with great views across to the Malverns. Located at edge of woods on a smallholding with sheep paddock behind accomodation in annex room above garage block. Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again.'

'The Applestore is lovely located and central for daytrips to Wales, Hereford and lovely towns as Coleford and Kington. 'Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.'

'A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. Very central but also very peaceful. Communication from Sue was amazing and she was really accommodating and generous throughout our stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat.'

'This is a lovely, clean bungalow which is modern and well equipped with everything you could possibly need.The highlight is most definitely the hot tub! We spent 4 hours in there one evening. It was 2 degrees and we were so warm and toasty. It was fabulous!'

'The property is set in wonderful grounds and is well furnished. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. Unfortunately Vrbo’s computer system did not appear to communicate with the property agent’s which led to various problems, including the property manager not knowing that we had paid the deposit. 'Brilliant property for 16 of us. Hot tub and pool table were great additions.We had a meal brought in (by Harts Barn Cookery School - I highly recommend them as well) on the Saturday night. The dining area easily accommodated all 16 of us (and three dogs and a baby).Great to have so many of the bedrooms en-suite. Lovely walks nearby from the Lodge.A great stay all round!'
