"Ocean Front Delight" is a pristine three-bedroom, three-bathroom, fourth floor end unit Condo, serenely bathed in quiet understated elegance to bring forth both comfort and style. The Unit is on a level so closely connected to the Sea you can almost reach out and touch the sand and surf while still being on a level high enough to enjoy the wide-open expanse of a magnificent the Ocean view.
The living room, dining room, and kitchen are combined into "Great Room" open-spaced living area creating the perfect space for family and friends to spend time together. The living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom all have a "full-on panoramic, front-facing ocean view", spectacularly framed by floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows and sliders that open onto an Ocean front balcony that spans almost the entire width of the Unit. The balcony creates the ideal location for enjoying the glorious splendor and majesty of the morning sunrise as the sun slowly rises above the surface of the brilliantly sparkling deep blue Sea. It is also a delightful place for enjoying your morning cup of coffee/tea or afternoon/evening glass of wine. With the ebb and flow of the Ocean waves creating the ideal backdrop, the building softly shades the balcony from the afternoon sun creating a perfect spot for reading a favorite novel or simply drifting away into a soothing afternoon nap. On a clear evening, the ocean-front balcony or the sandy beach are great spots from which to view "Space Shuttle Launches". This is a once in a lifetime experience that you will not want to miss.
The living room has a comfortable leather reclining sofa and chairs, a 55' High-Definition Smart T.V. w/ soundbar, a glass top coffee table, two bar stools, and a wall-switch controlled ceiling fan.
The gourmet kitchen with its black granite countertop adds an elegant level of modern sophistication. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, pots and pans, serving platters, large/mixing bowls, teapot, tea kettle, toaster, coffee maker, electric hand mixer, blender, electric can opener, tea towels, dish cloths, potholders, hot pads, etc. The walk-in pantry is stocked with basic spices.
The dining room table comfortably seats six. There is an additional small table and two chairs. The dining room fixture has a dimmer switch to enhance a romantic setting for your evening meal.
The master bedroom opens onto the ocean front balcony and has a king bed, walk-in closet, separate dressing area., T.V., and private bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom also has a king bed and private bath with a large walk-in shower with a hand-held shower head for rinsing the feet after a return trip from the beach. Linens, towels and hairdryers are provided for each bedroom/bath area. The third bedroom has two twin beds (or if combined another king bed) and two small pop-up sleeping tents.
It also has a private bath with a walk-in shower.
Top-of-the Line Washer and Dryer located inside the interior of the Unit.
There is a covered veranda outside the entry way to the front door. This area is a great area for viewing the dramatic, romantic and often intense "fireball" sunsets. During "Bike Week", it is also a favorable vista form which to watch 100's of bikers make their free-spirited ride up Shoreline Highway A1A in route to the much-favored biker destination of Flagler Beach. This is a spectacular event to behold, with the constant roar of the bikes almost matching that magnificent roar of the Atlantic Ocean on the other side of the building.
Books are provided on the "History of Ormond Beach", "Florida's Living Beaches - A Guide for the Curious Beachcomber", and "Florida's Seashells. Binoculars are provided to enhance your viewing experience. To assist you in experiencing all the area has to offer, a binder(s) is located in the Walk-In Pantry with brochures and information on things to do, places to go, things to see, special events, shopping, local restaurants, and nearby State Parks.
For the kid's enjoyment, there are lots of games, books, puzzles, toys and two small pop-up sleep tents.
Dominos and playing cards are provided for those of a little older nature. On the first floor, there is a library room where reading books may be borrowed as well as a small work-out room with a treadmill, exercise bike, weight machine and sauna.
Beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, paddle balls, socker ball, beach ball, kites, kid's beach toys, beach transport wagon, beach bags, beach towels, and pool noodles are all provided in a separate exterior storage room.
There is a small Work-Out Room with a treadmill, exercise bike, weight machine and sauna located on the first floor to the left of the building manager's office. The "building key" is required for access.
A communal bathroom is located on the first floor on the way to the pool area.
Attire: Shoes and cover-ups are required when entering or leaving
the building.
The build has a large communal ocean front salt-water swimming pool (not heated.) but open year-round. No lifeguard on duty.
Beach: Private gated entry from pool area. Building key required
for access and re-entry. For safety and security, gate must
be kept locked.
Beach to Pool: Guests are required to rinse off sand before
re-entry to pool area.
The Host requests Guest(s) rinse feet again upon
re-entry from the Beach into the unit. This will
greatly help to prevent potential sand grit damage
to the Unit's new tile floors.
Moisture Damage Prevention:
To avoid salt-water and moisture damage to the interior of Unit, Guests are requested to keep windows and sliders/doors except when entering or exiting the unit.
Maximum Guest Occupancy:
The Maximum Guest Occupancy of six is expected to be adhered to. If this is not your intention, do no book this property. The Host must approve any exception to the Maximum Guest Occupancy Restriction prior to Guest being accepted as property occupant. Children under the age of six years are not counted under Maximum Guest Occupancy.
Quiet Time: The Van Lee Condo Building is primarily
residential and 10 p.m. "Quiet Time" is expected
to be adhered to. If this is not your expectation
please do not book this property. "Sea Turtle Nesting":
The Sea Turtle nesting seasons runs from May 1st thru October 31st in the State of Florida. Sea Turtles are protected by the Federal Endangered Species Act and the Florida Marine Protection Act, and it is against the law to touch or disturb nesting Sea Turtles, hatchlings, or their nest. During these months, window coverings on all Ocean Front properties are required to be closed once darkness occurs. This is a Community Restriction to protect the viability of our beloved Sea Turtle population. Sea Turtles will not come ashore to lay their eggs if lights are emitted from properties along the shoreline. Flashlights on the Beach are also not permitted during this period. Fireworks are not allowed. A Community Beach Patrol monitors adherence of restrictions and fines may be issued for violation. Residents must avoid disturbing marked Sea Turtle nest areas and ensure that trash is properly disposed of before leaving the beach.
