'Good Holiday,nice and relaxed'

'We did enjoy our stay with some minor improvements needed. Number one impressive kitchen from photos but oven and cooktop were difficult to operate. We never did get either ovens to work. Poorly out fitted no vegetable peeler or box grater. Blender was broken and three chipped wine glasses only. This was rectified within 24 hours. No plastic ware for outdoor pool area. BBQ only had one propane tank with no spare to be found. Given the distance back to Hilo and the fact that ovens didn’t work...

'we met the owners on our arrival and found them to be extremely involved and wonderful hosts, our stay was also wonderful but we did have a few hic-ups , it. seems the company in charge of supply and care of the unit was being changed so we did not receive proper responses to our requests. after we found out who the new manager was (John) he took care of everything, Thank you again John. we highly recommend a stay at the Treehouse at Hakalau. we will return.'

'A stunning and beautiful situation and location. The hosts Garrett and Kaia were so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. They made suggestions as to sights to see and good places to eat, going so far as to even picking up a meal for us. There was plenty of room at this location for all of our family and each member had their own room. Out grand children greatly enjoyed the animal life both domestic and wild. 'We celebrated Labor Day weekend with family and friends on the Big Island. This rental fit all our needs and then some. From the relaxing views of the ocean and beautiful landscape to the pool, bbq grill and fire pit. What could you ask for? A jacuzzi? We can't wait to stay here again.'

'Rachel’s quaint on-site guest house is a peaceful retreat on the Hamakua Coast, magnificent lanai and ocean view. The vintage house has had some updates and is fairly comfortable and reasonably stocked, wry clean. Rachel was a delight to meet, and very quietly respectful of our property. It is about 5-10 min drive outside of Honoka’a, which is a cute town (although no dinner restaurants!).Rachel’s pool looked very nice, hot tub is not working but we were out exploring most of our days. 15 min...
