'We werden vriendelijk begroet. Mochten de auto de volgende dag nog wat langer laten staan op de parkeerplaats. Heel aardig! Eenvoudige kamer, maar schoon en netjes. '

'A very warm welcome from the owner on arrival. He was a font of great information on the area and makes a superb loaf of bread for breakfast. Our room was spotless. There were two large bars in the bathroom to hang out two towels on. Excellent. The kettle and hot drinks provision was a very nice touch. The view was unforgettable. Breakfast itself was delicious with a great choice. Cannot fault the place.'

'We stayed in an ocean view unit at the front of the property and for the price it was fantastic. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Our room was small, but clean. There are larger rooms, but we intentionally chose room 7, I think, for more privacy than the other units. The furnishings and room in general has “tired” decor so if you’re looking for modern and updated this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a great stay on a budget this should fit your needs and price point. '

'Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). '
