'Mark was a great host. He was friendly and very responsive. My “Quarters” was nice, with a very comfortable bed, small microwave and fridge, a desk and two end tables. Beautiful hardwood floors that look to be original. The walkability is great as it is only one block from Manayunks Main St., where you will find your choice of restaurants including cute little coffee shops and vintage stores. I was born in Philly and lived there for a long time. I can’t believe I missed this little...

'Alpenhof is everything you’d want in a B&B times a thousand. The owners greet you warmly and remain available while giving you space. The rooms are impeccable - every detail thoughtfully designed for the experience, and each bed (I’ve stayed in different rooms over the years) is so sooo comfortable!! There’s an enormous amount of gorgeous space - inside each room, in the incredible common areas, and on the landscaped grounds outside. I’ve never had a desire to re-visit a hotel or Airbnb or B&B...
