'So glad we booked this apartment. Right in the middle of town on Market Street with everything within minutes of walking. The place is very spacious by U.K. standards and the fixtures are pretty high end by the U.S. standard. A two bedroom apartment for the price of a small hotel room. Incredible value! 'The Luxury Holiday Apartment was a perfect place for our "off season" visit to Stirling. Anne was a very responsive host, and the Scottish treats and tea/coffee setup were greatly appreciated after a long international trip. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped, with a lovely garden view from the kitchen. We were perfectly comfortable and felt at home. Having private parking also is a plus, although the town and even Stirling Castle are within easy walking distance...

'This is an excellent property well situated to drive to Edinburgh, Sterling, Glasgow. We were personally welcomed by Ken who walked us through everything we needed to know about the apartment. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We received a bottle of wine and basic groceries, milk, bread, butter, orange juice, water, tea, sugar and our favourite Nespresso coffee! The bathroom was also well equipped with anything you could possibly need!'

Amenities as described, we were disappointed at the lack of toiletries as the cute toiletry bottles were one of the deciders between this flat and one of similar price. Photos are doctored for colour; it's nowhere near as orange as it appears! We also had the impression it was bigger from the photos. 'Perfect location for some peace and tranquillity ..... yet in 30 mins you're in the centre of Edinburgh.The images in the listing do not do justice to the penthouse. It is spacious, with a lovely big living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are extremely comfortable, as were the bathrooms. highly recommended.'

'A very well appointed property and the location fit our needs. We took in the Chip shop down the road and didn’t think it was as great as people had raved. But The Ship had great food and portions, as well very reasonable prices. The location of the Co-op for groceries was convenient. Pamphlets were also found to be helpful. Recommendation is to include instructions on operation of the oven, we got it to work but it would beep at us quite often. Thanks again.'

'Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute.
