'The house was amazing! We had a lot of fun! '

'We have a group of 25 that have been celebrating New Year’s together for the past 30 years. This worked great as everyone had their own bedroom and there was plenty to do on-site. The clubhouse and pool were enjoyed by all! We look forward to staying there again next year.'

'This place is truly perfect for a weekend to unwind, especially in the winter months. The sauna, fireplace, and jacuzzi tub were highlights for our kids, and there was lots of space to lounge and play for everyone. We’ve stayed here a few times, and each weekend was better than the last. The gas stovetop is a little crotchety to use but we loved having a Bluetooth speaker since we didn’t think to bring our own. 'We were up for a weekend ski trip. This was the perfect location. 10 minutes from Elk, and 10 minutes from all of our favorite food/bars! '

'Everything was as described and up to date. There were nice details that I did not expect from the description, like coffee (very grateful since I forgot to bring some), laundry detergent, and extra garbage bags. As an FYI, the water pressure on the kitchen sink is very low, but I realize that can be impossible to fix in some places. The managers responded to our questions very quickly. '

'Scott and Anne were incredible hosts, and their home was perfect for our group. We were a large group, and had a ton of space. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook giant meals. The hot tub was amazing. Scott and Anne were responsive, and even came early in the morning to plow us out of the driveway when there was a lot of snow. We will definitely be back!!!! '

'We had a good week at the UP Cabin. The only issues we had from a cleanliness perspective were not the fault of the property owner, it seems the tenants before us were a little sloppy and managed to leave behind some things. Had a plumbing issue during the week but the owner had it taken care of ASAP for us, very much appreciated. They have done a nice job with the house for sure. Love the wood panel walls and ceiling, and the kitchen is REALLY well stocked for your stay. Our kids really enjoyed...

'Large group of us (13) revisited heart lake for the second year in a row and would be happy to make it a third. Plenty of space for up to 20 people, great kitchen and dining space, as well as extremely comfortable living and sleeping accommodations. Very cute brewery down the road and quick drive to Elk for activities. Can’t recommended this place enough. Thank you Julia!'

'We had a great stay at this property. The house was very clean when we arrived and beds were comfortable. The location was very close to skiing at Elk which was perfect for us. It’s in a rural spot so nice and quiet. I think this property would be just as fun in the summer as it is in the winter with the pond and the fire pit. We had a great time and were talking about coming back before we even left! Thanks for the great stay!'

'We really enjoyed the seclusion of the property, it truly felt like a getaway. The house was very clean upon arrival and the kitchen was the perfect size for our group. Overall we had a great stay. The only critique I would have is that I did not realize that the only way to access one of the rooms was to walk through another. Perhaps I did not read the listing thoroughly but I was unaware of that condition.'

'We loved The Hideout! It was perfect for our two families, each with 2 kids. Loved the nearby pool and beach access and all of the kid’s amenities in the house. Looking forward to returning this summer!'

'We used this house as a home base for a planned spa day at Woodloch and it was perfect! Plenty of space and outdoor fire pit is great. Only knock was the grinder pump in the basement woke the whole house up at 3am but we understand that is hard to control. Great location and the host was very responsive and accommodating to my questions before hand. '
