'A cosy base with all we needed for a lovely stay in a lovely area. A nice welcome package of flowers, drinks and biscuits, along with a few extras - cooking oil and tea bags. Impressed with the kitchen area, which was well stocked with equipment to enable easy self catering. Denise was a very thoughtful host, willing to respond quickly to questions. One point to note - we didn't want one, but there isn't a hot tub!'

'What a stunning cottage in the most beautiful area! And I cannot recommend Adrian and his daughter as hosts enough. The cottage was perfect for our family celebrations, had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean with fans provided for the warmer nights too, bonus! Also noted heaps of extra blankets for colder months too, nice touch. And the views were beautiful! We were lucky to have full use of all the areas as we were the only guests, we chose the allocated farmhouse BBQ area...

'Das Ferienhaus war für uns 7 erwachsene Personen sehr gut geeignet. 2 DZ inkl. Dusche/ WC; 2DZ mit gemeinsamem Bad mit Badewanne+Dusche+WC; 1 separates WC Nähe Wohnzimmer; 1 EZ. Kücheneinrichtung perfekt; Stauraum in den Schlafzimmern etwas knapp. Parkplatz für 2 Autos vor der Tür. Hübscher Garten. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Pub nebenan. Sofort Tisch für 7 Personen organisiert und vorzüglich gegessen. WLan hat funktioniert. Wahrscheinlich neuer Router. '

'We really enjoyed our stay. The ground floor is perfect for a large group with a well equipped kitchen, cozy lounge and a dining room which easily seats 14/15 adults. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and nearly all with en-suites. The house is well located within easy reach of Dorchester, Bridport and the coast. Highly recommended.'

'We had a lovely stay, the property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The location for us was great, if you like walking then highly recommend. Within 40 minutes drive there is a large number of places to visit and the village has everything you need. Pub within a couple of minutes walk as well as shops for supplies. Would happily stay here again.'

'Excellent location at eastern end of Weymouth beach with sea views, brilliant walks straight from the front door, lovely cafe -Oasis- at bottom of road right on the beach (recommend fish and chips) and a well equipped apartment with all facilities to stay in.'

'Fernlea was our base for a group of friends annual gathering to walk, catch up, eat and relax. It was very well equipped with excellent kitchen facilities and each member of the group was able to have their own room and bathroom. Lots of coastal walks directly from the house allowed us to park up on Friday afternoon and not get back into a car until we left. When the weather allowed views were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend for families and groups. Nearest shops and pubs are a mile or two...
