'Séjour correct mais plusieurs points a revoir. + La localisation, l'espace canapé séparé avec petite dépendance atypique pour la TV, quartier top, immeuble sécurisé. - la propreté, l'équipement sommaire, table de nuit en carton, lit qui se déplie/pas une vraie chambre, meuble à ustensiles de cuisine brinquebalants, cuisine très petite -le mot est faible-, on entend tous les bruits extérieurs par la fenêtre, volet qui se ferme mal et qui joint mal, pas de possibilité de poser ses valises...

Food shop close enough & choice for self catering and flat had enough pans plates glasses etc. We were met by the owners Father who was a lovely man, who helped me with my case and showed us where everything was. It was perfect for our 4 night stay with 2 teenage boys.'

'We loved the quiet location in Portofino instead of staying in Santa Margherita. Walked to beaches and took the ferry to go shopping. Loved the quaintness and people. We extended our stay. Good communication.'

'The host team was very responsive and available. Great courtyard view from bedrooms and quiet for sleeping at night. Perfect walk in all directions for sites and great restaurants in the area. I have already booked my next stay.'

'We stayed 10 days in Rapallo and the accomodation was a typical italian Apartment with A/C, basic kitchen equipment, a very cool rooftop terrace and a balcony. There even was a welcome gift with some food and other helpful Kirchen stuff! The communication with Roberto was easy & helpful, he was available and took care immediatly when we asked. Grocery stores nearby and 10 minute walk everywhere. NO WIFI - and the connection not too good inside the apartment. We had a great stay :) '

' Nous avons réservé 9 jours. Dans l’annonce il n’est pas précisé qu’il faut garer sa voiture plus bas (sur des places réservées aux résidents parfois toute occupées) et monter environ 80 marches. Monter nos affaires à 33 degrés (+ une très forte forte humidité) a été plus que sportif… La communication a d’ailleurs été très compliquée car l’hôte n’était pas présent et ne donnait plus aucune nouvelle à notre arrivée …. 3 heures (de stress) plus tard il nous envoie la vidéo de là où est caché...

"Prachtig hotel. Zeer schoon. Vriendelijk personeel en baas. Lekker persoonlijk. Zeer goed 5 sterren ontbijt. Prachtige omgeving. Makkelijk veerboot naar Portofino. Goede restaurants. Hotel zeker de moeite waard voor ons om terug te keren. Prachtig stadje. Echt een aanrader zeer goed hotel. Groetjes uit Holland "

"Prima stop om de mooie stad Genua te ontdekken! Hotel was prima (we zaten wel in nieuwe kamers) maar de medewerkers erg statisch (op het ontbijt gedeelte na) voelde we ons niet echt welkom. Prima maar kan mezelf voorstellen dat het voor sommige als naar wordt ervaren."

Disappointing stay

"The hotel has a good location opposite to the train station. The reception desk agent was very kind. The room was spacious, but there were a few things wrong. First, the AC was leaking so all night long you hear it dripping. Due to the water damage on the wall, this isn’t a new problem. Second, in the shower the warm water was marked as cold and the cold water was hot. This is very dangerous. Third, the safe wasn’t working. The room was on the 3rd floor. The elevator is for 1 person only, so be prepared to walk some stairs. We only stayed one night. The next morning at check-out we reported the problems. The only reaction of the agent at the reception (in the morning) was: ok… The hotel is named B&B but don’t count on a free breakfast (bed and breakfast?)… you only get a voucher if you make an account and you participate in the ‘frequent visitor program’. "
