The property canceled my pre-paid reservation with a third-party biller at the last minute, Expedia. I had this room booked and paid for a month before the reservation date and chose it because I had enough beds for teens. I didn’t learn they canceled until I arrived and my room was gone. There was only one room left. Then I had to pay twice the amount for a smaller room and had family members sleeping on the floor. It took almost 2 hours to sort this out at the front desk and I missed my daughter‘s first cheer competition. There was no Wi-Fi available for me to pull up my reservation information because they wouldn’t allow me to use the Wi-Fi until I already had a room. The cellular service is apparently bad right there in New Hampshire. They pointed out a computer I could use in the corner of the Lobby, but it wasn’t working and it was the front desk staff person’s first week working there. She couldn’t even find my name.After buying the last room remaining, I was able to pull up the reservation information on my phone and bring it to the front desk. They explained they had canceled it that morning. The manager spoke with the front desk staff on the phone four or five times about my situation, because there was only one room left, and I didn’t want to pay twice as much for it then I had already prepaid. He wouldn’t talk with me directly even though he spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with the Front Desk staff. The room was very nice but small with only one bed.
