'The location is great. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed, plus extras. The rear porch was heavily utilized for morning coffee watching wildlife over the water (lots of birds, deer, and a visit from a muskrat) and evening relaxing. We crabbed and fished off the little dock, enjoyed home cooked meals and naps on the hammock. This home is not new. It’s not fancy. It’s exactly as advertised. 'great property at a good rate'

'Property is comfy. I would suggest making the info about bringing linens,toilet paper, towels,and soap more prominent in the description. Our bad that we didn’t read the finer print. Fortunately, we were able to rent from the property manager.'

'Nice house, great view of the marsh and the lighthouse at night. 50 degrees and sunshine beats the heck of the subzero and the snowstorm aftermath we returned home to. Lots of great seafood, visited the Wallops Island NASA visitor's center, walked some trails at one of the parks, enjoyed the sunrises over the marsh. Great getaway.'

'The place was perfect for the four of us. Plenty of room, very comfortable and quiet but close to anything we wanted to do on Chincoteague. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back again :)'

'Lovely cottage, nicely decorated, had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and biked all around the area. '

'The property is close to all amenities and to Assateague Island for the beach. There are very little cable channels and no smart TV, so it’s good to have tablets if that’s important to you.'

'This house is a restored fisherman's cottage, just a block off Main St. in Chincoteague. We walked into town for the shops and restaurants every day. The kitchen was well-equipped, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Our dog enjoyed the large fenced yard, especially the shady spots! There is paint flaking off the windows in one of the upstairs bedrooms, which needs to be addressed.'

'This home was more beautiful than the pictures show. It was extremely clean and had everything that we could possibly need. There were four queen beds upstairs and a king bed in the downstairs master bedroom. The rocking chairs on the front porch were perfect for morning coffee and the screened-in back porch kept us mosquito-free and was so private, you can easily forget there are other homes in the neighborhood.
