'If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.'

'Everything was great, very clean, the staff were super friendly, and the ocean view and the pool eve thing was beautiful we enjoyed our vacation. However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Hotel Luna for your next vacation! ❤️❤️❤️'

'We only stayed one night before taking the ferry to Utila. I appreciated that they arranged my airport transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. This construction meant there was a lot of noise during our stay, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The room was quite large and clean. The bathroom was very small and could use some improvements. The food at lunch and dinner was...

'What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! '

'If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally!...

'I think we knew it was 2 double beds, but it was way too small for 2 adults. The beds were rock hard. A queen with a mattress topper would be great. We needed a light blanket for nighttime, only had a sheet. Kitchen was lacking in what we would consider automatic. We cooked 2 dinners in. No frying pan, had to ask for coffee filters, no plug for the sink, no hot water in the kitchen, no strainer, no cheese grater, no corkscrew, no ice trays and most importantly did not include bottled water....
