'The property gives you the feel that your staying right in nature. Agouti visited daily, we heard howler monkeys, saw a sloth on our walk back from breakfast, and the enjoyed the beautiful sounds of all the birds. We were a little concerned about lack of air conditioning but we were pleasantly surprised. The pool kept us cool during the day and the open air bedrooms with the fans actually got a bit chilly. 'The house is very cute and you can’t beat the view. Step across the street and you are on the beach. My wife was working and (barring some Latin American mas o Minos the internet worked great. There are animals all around the house including an active and lively raccoon that takes a little work to keep your food safe but, for the most part, they have thought of everything. 'Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!'

'The lodging and grounds were beautiful and it’s so obvious how much love and time Daniel and Renata have put into their wonderful vacation accommodations. We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. They answered all of our questions, made great arrangements for tours, and made sure we had everything we needed daily! 'I stayed at Samasati from the 3rd through the 12th of August. I stayed at several other properties on Samasati, but the Yucca House is in the most beautiful part of Samasati's property. The best part of this property is that it is a nature retreat. It is a short 4 miles from Puerto Viejo. If you want to have total autonomy, a 4x4 vehicle is necessary because it is a steep gravel road to the top of a secluded jungle mountain. 'Mooie huisjes met alles erop en eraan, weg oversteken en je bent op het strand. Op loopafstand van restaurants. Rustig gelegen. Super lieve mensen! Helpen met alles en zijn erg zorgzaam. Wij komen hier zeker terug!!'

'This location was considered somewhat safe as they had Onsight guards for safety, but the roads to get to this location were very rough and you could only travel at about 10 or 15 Kilometers per hour to get to the location. I would rate this location as a solid 3 or 4 in regards to the location and access. '
