'Very comfortable bed, hot shower, cooked breakfast provided'

'Booked in for 2 nights, first thing I was told at reception was that there was a single bed in the room as well as a queen bed and if the single bed was used we would be charged extra. Then I was asked if we came from south of the border? Not very welcoming. The room certainly needed upgrading for a 3.5 star room. There was about 300mm between the side of the queen bed and the wall. Then there was an old box type A/C above the bed. Two cold nights but couldn't sleep with the A/C on, so had to...

'Situated right in the heart of amazing Winton. My 5th trip and never tire of this place. The grand old lady is indeed old, however was clean, convenient and friendly. Disappointments were the lift wasn't working meaning we couldn't unpack the car fully, also the ever present sulphur smell seemed to be stronger this visit'

'Good country pub motel, rooms very clean, bathroom surprisingly large. Good pub food and great cold beer available at the tavern. Great stay when travelling. '
